Some stuff: Please don't judge me I'm also new in camera gear stuff so basically this is my opinion
*Cheap (enough to not surprise your parents!)
*Good enough for beginners (like me)
*Can handle any camera dslrs/mirrorless (except very heavy lenses and large sliders)
*Very cheaply made head cant handle to attach a large slider or a very heavy camera lens and if you do add some heavy camera lens or a large slider (it's alright if you have two tripods to support a slider) then it will start to make some cranking sounds and stuff)
*Not sturdy enough especially the hook to anchor weights underneath the tripod head was made with PLASTIC so basically if you put heavyweights out there for a long period of time then expect that would break (Personally I don't attach weights to the hook anymore)
If you're a beginner like me then I recommend you to buy this
If your a professional and looking for a long term tripod that can live for many years or even a lifetime then don't get this.
No complaints :)
If you plan to use mobile phone (as opposed to camera), you will need to purchase mobile holder separately.
The only downside I have found is that with a heavy large lense, the camera does slowly tilt forward over time and need to be re-adjusted from time to time.

tous les règlages nécessaires,
Et le pied central amovible !
magique ! bon investissement...
Walking to the lift the plate detached from the tripod resulting in the camera falling onto lift doors and then finding the only tiled floor in the hotel. Result lens is dead and The camera was damaged. This with 20 mins to photograph a wedding!!
Managed to tape camera up and had to do the shoot using the onboard camera flash! Not helpful.
I now note that the plate will only work one way, one way it stays on the other you can pull it off easily. I assume that the tolerance used is out in manufacturing. Be warned and test before using the tripod.
I can extend it to a really good height and the mono pod is a bonus. I love that the feet move depending on what terrain you place the tripod. My previous tripod would fall over as the feet wouldn't move so this tripod is worth it just for that alone.
I use the tripod for my DSLR camera and my camcorder and i've never had any issues with it. I've never came across a situation where i've needed to put weight on the hook to hold the tripod down, but it's great that the hook is there just in case it's ever required.
If i damaged mine at all, i would definitely buy another one of these!
I went for the newer and bigger version this time and it is great. Very sturdy and you feel safe to leave it alone, even in winds and water but you have the option to hang something under it to give it more stability. The monopod is a bit risky tho and takes abit of getting used to that takes up time. Bag it comes with has a good strap on it but it's heavy and a bit bulky.
When I bought this item I didn't realize that it also had a mono ped ,I've opened it out but not used it on its own .my only tiny gripe is that the hook to add stability is rather flimsy ,but saying that I've only used it for a couple of weeks .
