On my list of one of my favorite Ramsey Campbell books.Reviewed in the United States on 28 April 2014
I have been a fan of Ramsey Campbell for quite some time. I especially love Incarnate, The Hungry Moon, and various short stories like Napier Court, and Down there. He writes about pale faces and thin bodies not clearly seen, and spidery things caught out of the corner of our eyes. Nazareth Hill has some of the best aspects of his writing such as troubled relationships, complex personalities and very spooky settings. As a fan of his supernatural books foremost, I appreciated Nazareth Hill a lot. It also had a touching ending that was similar to the bittersweet ending of the Hungry Moon. If you like seriously spooky books, and have the courage to ponder bleakness and creepiness in extreme, I really would hope you would try this book out.
