I read the other 12 reviews and made the decision to buy two sizes (4T) up based on the reviews that didn't just say "cute," "great," or "perfect." I expected that if it was true to size, then she can wear it in about a year, otherwise it will end up fitting now. It fits now. // Daughter's metrics... She's a Pisces baby, currently stands at 33" tall, and weighs about 27lbs. Scrawny for her age but eats like a beast; I digress. // If a shirt is baggy, any parent can tell its too big, in this case, it was noticeably similar to another shirt we already own. I put the 4T shirt up against another shirt she wears (3T) and saw it ran almost exactly the same. // In my photos I lined the two shirts at the armpit corner seam, so it lines up properly. You can see the minimal difference between a 3T and 4T. It just runs "flowy" to match the way the sleeves are designed. // So, you if you are a parent reading this, with a child with about the same size and weight, I recommend buying two sizes up expecting to use it for only one season. It's great as a spring shirt, under a lite jacket, up till summer, or a fall shirt under multiple layers. Size aside, it's thin but the quality is great and incredibly soft. Think microfiber/jersey1bed-linen-soft. Hopes this helps other parents. Cheers.
