Naked Came the Disappointment29 October 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
Well, I was so looking forward to a good mystery read and the line up of writers promised just that. The opening two chapters established the where & the when & the why and some of the characters. And then the story line got weaker & weaker and so drawn out that somewhere along the way, I forgot who was who-- most of the women characters all seemed so similar. Unfortunately the slow development of the story & the shallow characterization made for a blur of a read, because then all the male characters all seemed to become so similar, well, except for the one in scanty clothing. I mean this is just about as shallow as it gets. The sum of the parts does not add up to a great whole-- I'm sure the writers had fun, but this was not worth the time I spent reading it, nor the money.

Tried something different11 June 2014 - Published on Amazon.com
Delivery & condition of the book went beyond expectations. The collection of authors writing a chapter each addressing a single story was eye-opening. One was a favorite author (i.e. J D Robb) while the rest were familiar names. It was interesting being aware of the different styles of writing, frustrating when the characters became wishy-washy but hilarious with the content and cliff-hangers of the individual chapters. Originally I had this as being 4 stars but I went back because even though some of the authors irritated me, I really did enjoy it.

Fun!3 August 2018 - Published on Amazon.com
I enjoyed it! It was a fun vacation read. It was also fun imagining each author giving a diabolical chuckle as they confounded the plot for the next one.

Best read in a long time8 February 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
So many of my favorite authors (& a couple of new ones) writing a book together? These ladies styles are so different but the transition from chapter to chapter was seamless. The twists and turns were abundant and the ending satisfying and, yes, fun.

Riveting compilation of chapters by different authors. Had a very entertaining evidence trail. Such a creative idea and brilliantly carried out by some very talented writers.
