I have a TP-Link NC250 camera that performs poorly, but TP-Link products are generally well recommended so I thought maybe it was just a dud. I was wrong.
Like its cousin, the NC220 camera crapped out about 10 minutes after connecting to my network. I was literally on my way downstairs to show my handywork to my wife when the camera inexplicably went off-line right while I viewing the stream. It was connected to my router as indicated by the green LED and by the fact that I could access its settings (but not picture) from my PC, but could not connect to the internet or output video. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to go back online without hard-wiring it to my router, hence defeating the entire purpose of a wi-fi camera.
Since then, the camera repeatedly goes off-line without warning or explanation. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll be returning this to Amazon for a refund. Steer clear.
