Although this book is part of series it is not necessary to read the others to enjoy this book. That said it was nice to pre-know some of the characters. We are taken on a journey through dislike for each other to love, with a happy ever after. Lots in between with a mystery of course to solve. Do enjoy these books and so glad I live in these times.

Lord Rutherford's MysteryReviewed in the United States on 24 March 2020
Lord Rutherford and Lady Catherine were not friendly at all. He had a reputation and she thought he was beyond the pale. Catching him trying to lure a young lady outside did it for her. She and the Shadows watched up to a point before stopping them. Sent the young lady back inside and chastised the Lord. The drama increased after that with twists and angst, mystery, and other things happening make for a good book. I voluntarily accepted this book and freely give my opinion.

To read or not to readReviewed in the United States on 16 March 2020
It's to read. I couldn't stop. It was like reading a who done it, with romance, lots of hate and, the love. I had to finish it. Can't wait for the net one to come out.
Stupid plotReviewed in the United States on 22 March 2020
No transitions. Went from hot to cold and back. Poor character development. An outline for a bad novel.
Very enjoyableReviewed in the United States on 27 September 2020
I thought this book was fun to read, it had mystery and action and I loved the happy, romantic ending.
