I have doubts this product will kill germs like alcohol does, or actually whiten teeth to any appreciable degree - but they don't claim either on the packaging. Not a word about whitening, so I don't think of it as that kind of product. In fact, I'm hesitant to use it before I go out; the charcoal makes it darkly colored and I don't want to chance it making my teeth darker for any length of time in public. I use it for morning mouth exclusively; a swig of this when you wake up lasts a good long time and helps a dry mouth. But for sure, it's powerful enough to keep your breath fresh, and theoretically these are primo ingredients for helping to keep teeth clean & detoxified. The flask is a nice touch, and it has the best consistency & mouth feel of any rinse I've ever used -- thicker than the cheap watery stuff, but not quite as thick as, say, Biotene.
Only annoying thing about this product: they're constantly out of stock on it here on Amazon, and the price fluctuates radically; I've seen it as low as $7 and as high as $15. When I go to order a new bottle, it's typically being sold at too-high prices by 3rd market sellers, and I skip it. If Magic Mud doesn't care enough to keep this product in stock regularly on Amazon, I just move on to some other brand. P.S: avoid the mint flavor of this. It's far weaker than the cinnamon and actually has kind of an off-putting taste, to me anyway.
