I recently read Take A Chance On Me and I didn't enjoy it. At. All. But Weston Parker has redeemed himself. This was actually a really great read. I liked the fact that Cal spent so much time with Asher, his son. Asher was a significant part of the story. I really enjoyed their relationship. Cal called him kiddo. How sweet is that? I felt like these were 2 books rolled into one. The first book was before the accident and the second book was after the accident. I don't mean literal books, I'm just a saying.

I really enjoyed Cal and Lina together. They had an exciting chemistry. I loved how Lina felt toward Asher and Nick (Cal's dad). They all blended really well. It's like Lina was home. They were all a significant part of her life and her family. I am so glad there was no drama and the down parts rectified themselves quickly. There was no hanging on. It was quick and to the point. I loved their interactions and their intimate moments. I really enjoyed the dialogue and their actions. I was on the fence about the amnesia but this book actually works. There's truth to it.

I feel like I am missing something. I feel like I should have been taking notes, like part of my review is being cut short because I am missing some details. Please forgive me, there should be more to my review but I honestly don't remember the specifics.

A side note- once they say I love you to each other...the condom needs to go. Just say'n.

He doesn’t tell her the truth about their relationship as he wants a second chance but what happens when she regains her memory?

Full of emotion and angst I was glad to see how Callum changed as the book progressed.

Weston Parker is one of my favorite authors, his stories usually capture my heart and leave me smiling in the end. This story was a little unsettling for me, Callum was an idiot when he was younger when he let Lina go. I got that he was young at the time and didn’t know any better but what he did after her accident was disappointing. Sometimes it’s hard to get past someone lying and only thinking of themselves. Despite that, they were cute together, plus add in adorable Asher and this story got a little bit sweeter.
