5.0 out of 5 stars My Darling Arrow - Beautiful, Sweet and Crazy in Love

My Darling Arrow by Saffron A. Kent is one of the most anticipated and my favorite books this year! I love everything about My Darling Arrow - a beautiful and gripping love story, emotional hero, and sweet heroine, and on the book cover, you see Arrow himself. He is hot hot hot.❤️

All Saffron A. Kent books are special and her writing style is phenomenal because you feel like you are these heroes or heroines. All the feelings Salem and Arrow feel are so beautiful, raw, gripping, crazy in love, possessive, and sexy. How they see or do not see each other is so beautifully written. All the feels are out there and while reading, I felt all of the - unrequited love, hope, the courage to go out there, angst, hurting, being in love and so much happiness. I think I fell in love with Arrow and when he finally started to notice Salem, “oh my”. He was not very nice about it in the beginning and then he was also so much more... Arrow has so many layers and how Salem gets to know him from his other side - possessive, protective, emotional, and completely in love.
Salem writes sweet letters to Arrow in secret and through the book, you want to know, will he get them in the end. Salem's new friends in St. Mary’s school is also important to notice because each one will have their own story. I am so excited to see where these series will go. The next one A Gorgeous Villain, will be Callie's story.

Thank you for creating these beautiful, forbidden, and swoon-worthy romantic heroes/heroines and their love stories! ❤️
If you love to read romantic, unrequited, and hot love stories then I highly recommend My Darling Arrow and all other Saffron A. Kent super hot and amazing books.

UNPOPULAR OPINION READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

To start this off i thought i was going to love this book, it had every trope I am madly in love with. It was by an author that has always blown me out of the water and i really thought she would kill this book.

Sadly for me this book wasn't what i had been expecting. This story was majorly unbalanced. Salem was obsessive, in love, fan girly, and bleeding heart for arrow. Then there was arrow who undeserving of any of it, he really showed little emotion or connection towards her besides from the end. arrow was arrogant, cruel and lifeless and Salem felt like a punching bag and she liked it? She was okay with being second best and to fight for scrapes just to have her moment with arrow. I just didnt like how this one played out.

" But i don't care. He can do whatever he wants with me. He can stab me with a knife and ill be lying on the ground dying, drawing little hearts in blood."

Now we get to the use of the word p*ssy?
My god, if i never hear that word again it will be to soon. Pouty p*ssy, Bratty pouty p*ssy, reffering to the p*ssy as a she, " shes bare for me". It was just weird, and way to much for me. It took me out of the story, and made me stop and think wtf did i just read? I can safely say this book wasnt for me. But i appreciated what it tried to do and the in-depth look at the characters and what they have went through and tried to go through together. I just need more from arrow, less from Salem and so much less of the word p*ssy..
