Product Description

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs.

But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate but he’s also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me, my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

Would highly recommend to any reader who likes a happy ever after.
The personal demons suffered have allowed a person to reevaluate what is important in life and enabled him to grow and more forward. With the right person by his side, fulfilling dreams becomes a reality. Most enjoyable read.

After his girlfriend miscarried, Tucker's life quickly devolved into a barren wasteland. Sadie left him, and not too long afterwards found herself another guy, while Tucker was left alone in the house he'd bought in the hope of making a home for his new family.

If that weren't enough, their entire shared circle of friends closed ranks in support of Sadie, leaving him essentially cut out of their lives.

All of that was a year ago. A year in which, despite the distractions offered by his work and the two good friends he works with, Tucker has wallowed in the desolation his life has become.

Emma, one of those aforementioned friends, the natural caretaker among them, after finding herself unexpectedly needing somewhere new to live with only a few months left in her nursing degree. A chance encounter has her not only accepting Tucker's offer of a place to stay, but resolving to somehow make up for being so caught up in supporting Sadie that she'd failed to be a friend of any kind to him.

I really connected with this book, and the character of Tucker in particular. Healing and moving on from that kind of loss is something that can only be done once the person is actually ready to move on, and as the story opens, Tucker wasn't at all sure that would ever happen.

Oddly enough, for a book centered around such a morose theme, My Best Friend's Ex by Meghan Quinn was a surprisingly funny and uplifting book filled with quirky humor, awkward situation and colorful characters.

Though it picks up in the wake of Co-Wrecker which tells the story of Sadie and Andrew, this book can nevertheless easily be read as a standalone, or even in reverse order.

Overall I loved this book. It made me feel things cold and icky, things warm and fuzzy, and had a few really raunchy bits too for those of us who're into such things.

Highly recommended.

This book had me at the opening line.... "Just stick it in." From that moment I knew it was going to be my type of Rom-Com. I haven't had as good a laugh with a book in a long time, so thank you Meghan for bringing Tucker and Emma together and creating this awesome duo. This friends to lovers romance will have you laughing, snorting, sniffling and cheering! All the feels. It was just pure magic for me. If I could, I would give it more stars.

So, a little bit of background. You have read CO-WRECKER, right? Ok good, because if you didn't, you missed a great book. In that book, we were introduced to an Ex who had some issues - Tucker. He has had a tough upbringing and sadly some loss in his past. He is sitting alone in a bar, contemplating going back to his house, when he spots his old school friend, and best friend of his ex. Emma is having a night off from studying to become a nurse, and is happy when she sees Tucker who she hasn't seen since he split up with his ex, Sadie.

Emma has this caring and nurturing personality that just makes you want to be in her circle of friends. She didn't choose being a nurse just randomly. But when she is around Tucker, he brings out her naughtier side. And Tucker...... OMGosh, did you see the cover?!!! And it is not only the good looks and dirty talking that wins me over to him, he is witty and so sweet to Emma, it will melt your heart. She opens him up to things he thought may have been lost forever.

There are so many things I loved about this book. Not just Tucker and Emma, but the secondary characters were amazing too. Racer needs to find his girl, hoping and praying for another book! I also love when a book is in dual POV as you get both sides of the story and it just feels more complete. Highly recommend you grab this beauty and fall in love with them like me.

Five Amazing Stars

I was absolutely thrilled to receive this amazing book written by my new found author, Meghan Quinn. Such unbelievable sweetest exciting love story that I could not put down even once.

Emma is training as a nurse. Trying to hard to insert needles is something she really finds difficult.
Just as her mobile starts ringing. Not wanting to answer it whilst I'm busy at work She hears her room mate, Adalyn letting her know to hurry back to their house to see her friend telling them. That someone was going to evict hem from their home. They are now shocked , scared silly, not knowing how in earth this could even happen. And now she has only 7 days to move. Luckily Logan who as been my best and closest friend was still there for me to give me a hug.

As she was still studying she thought, how on earth will I pay for this. Until so luckily Logan will take them in before a house is available.

I adored this wonderful, hilarious fun romance so very dearly. I was absolutely surprised to read this brilliant tale. Such a marvellous enjoyable read. And a complete winner too!!

* I recommend this book to everyone!!

My best friends ex is the companion to Co-Wrecker and is the story of Tucker, Sadie's ex, and Emma, Sadie's best friend.
When nursing student Emma suddenly finds herself and her friend Adalyn being evicted from their house she finds out the hard way that housing is hard to come by. With time running out she runs into Tucker, who happens to be at the bar where Emma and her friends are. When Adelyn "just happens" to mention Emma's problem Tucker offers to let Emma stay with him. What could possibly go wrong?
With house rules in place and the ghost of Tucker's past haunting the house surely Emma can get to graduation in one piece.
I so loved this story, learning more about Tucker's history and how he perceived the relationship with Sadie. I had found him rather intriguing in Co-Wrecker but we get to learn so much more. I just needed a warning that I would need lots of tissues for the last chapter!!!!
