Meredith loves books and helps her father in his bookshop.
Elijah Stevens is the Marquess of Pembrooke but is also a writer who writes under the pen name Ethan Neville Jones.
One day when Elijah is in London he comes across the bookshop where Meredith is doing a reading of none other that a book by Ethan Neville Jones.
This is just the start to their story.
This is a lovely sweet clean story. A little different to most regency/victorian romances – no balls and not much interaction with The Ton. It has joy and laughter as well as hurt and tears.
Can the son of a duke and the daughter of a bookstore owner get a happy ever after?
I enjoyed reading this story.
I received an ARC of this book and freely and honestly leave my review.
