Not a bad read but not a Murder She Wrote book13 January 2020 - Published on Amazon.com
I never thought I would ever say this, but this is most likely my last Murder She Wrote purchase. These last 4 books have been a very big disappointment for me, not only do they misrepresent the past as provided in the previous books, but they seem to be directed at a new audience, the hardcore detective fiction readers. I got attracted to Murder She Wrote because of exotic locations and detailed descriptions that made me feel I was there, as well as the fast paced direct action, a consistent flow, that made for easy reading. These new books have 65 year old Jessica hanging off a cliff and running through burning buildings, ugh!! And how did Frank die, and is Mort's current wife Adele or Maureen? This book states Frank taught Jessica to fly, however we know that she learned from Jed the owner of the small airport taxi service in Cabot Cove. Too many inconsistencies. It would have been better if they created a spin off of Murder She Wrote, maybe with one of Jessica's students as the heroine - a younger heroine would be much better suited to the escapades that tend to end these books these days. Goodbye Jessica, sadly. I will dearly miss you. I will keep all your real books and read them over and over....
Pleasant surprise26 December 2019 - Published on Amazon.com
I thought this would just be a little light reading, but it turned out to have a complex plot, an intriguing backstory, and well developed characters. Suspenseful action made me want more. Great story.

I really liked it I figured it out as soon as they said the sister was killed in the car accident and not recognizable but it was fun to read to see if I was right
I Have A Question18 December 2019 - Published on Amazon.com
I don't know if I missed something or not, but how did the fire start in Jessica's house and what were the circumstances involving the fire?
