A dark, sexy, violence-packed thriller.-- "Library Journal"
Although the passionate and romantic bond between protagonists is front and center, brutally chilling murders form the core of this Ghost-Walker tale. Brisk pacing and many familiar faces instantly invest readers in this high-stakes venture. No one does alpha heroes better than Feehan!-- "RT Book Reviews (4 1/2 stars, Top Pick!)" --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

For me this is the best one of the series. Why?? Well, the plot is so good, the dialogue is real, the action scenes are well written and the main characters are brilliantly rendered. Yes Kaden is a bit of a caveman, dominant but NOT domineering, sexy, strong and really likeable. Tansy is well written, strong, capable, open minded, able to look after herself yet flexible enough to bend when necessary. The sex scenes are so hot you need a fan after reading them.
This is, in my opinion, classic Christine Feehan at her best. There is no tedious repetition, no unnecessary padding out, the action, the dialogue, the plot and the sex all blend together seamlessly to produce a book that is just fabulous.
Before this, Jesse's tale was my favourite, but the Alpha male that is Kadan simply blew me away. There was a great storyline, it was good to catch up with characters from previous books, and the sex scenes were scorching - I've a suspicion that the author has been reading erotica for research purposes!
Well worth the wait, the price and a definite keeper.
