I really enjoyed this book and I am sad the series came to an end, but all good things must end someday. I was very intrigued in the mechanics of how the "President" was ran and how luke was able to hack into the Authorities network, I imagined it being like a 5th dimension with some like quantum mechanics as to be playing a game but be projected into the real world and not just see stuff like if it was a camera but be seen as a human being, very interesting to get down and do some research on quantum mechanics and holographic imagery and all that stuff.
I would recommend this series to anyone who like;
-computer/robotics and stuff like that.
I gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating because of the futuristic feel that the series gave me, and how well the author pulled off the amazing stunts and action in the book. My favourite book in this series is probably "Murder Club" only because we find out if jade and luke get paired and what really is happening behind the scenes of the authorities.
I hope Malcolm Rose continues to write amazing books (not just in the Traces series) but in his other 7-or-so series.

Enjoyable and interesting seriesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2014
Having read all of the previous Traces books, I was delighted when this one appeared. I presume it is to be the last, which is a pity as I have enjoyed every one of them. This one does round the series off nicely. I guess it's suitable for around age 10 or 11 upwards, though I'm an adult and I liked reading them, as I have a number of Malcolm Rose's other books.
ExcellentReviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 May 2018
I loved the relationship between Luke and Malc once again, their weird and hilarious combination are a great part of what made this book a great ending to the series.

This entire book series is brilliant, and the ending was both unexpected and wonderful. Left me feeling quite contented and pleased.
