"Clever and entertaining, you'll love this charming Golden Age mystery series. And the fashion is to die for!" - Molly C. Quinn, actress, Castle
"I rank Lee Strauss as the best living cozy mystery writer. Her characters are believable but interesting, her stories are fun to follow and her use of language is superb. She makes the 1920s come alive in my imagination. I constantly read cozies and Lee's Lady Gold Mysteries are the very best." - LoriLynn, Amazon reviewer
"Another deftly crafted mystery by the master of the genre..." Midwest Book Review--This text refers to the paperback edition.

The setting in the early 1920's is finely sketched - a couple of historical inaccuracies but this isn't great literature and doesn't pretend to be - it is escapism. A cozy murder mystery. The characters are real and have warmth and charm and there is the underlying mystery of what Ginger really did in the war as well as her tentative relationship with Basil Reed who I am sure will turn up in future works.
really glad I found this series and I hope Ms Strauss has many more stories of Ginger Gold, Haley, Basil and co set to entertain.
This would make a lovely series but there needs to be more like 12+ as once it starts you will want more and more , just like the books!
Onto the next one!
Thank you, Linda Williams
