The story of her relationship with Rick came to its natural conclusion but the ending felt a bit rushed and sudden because the previous story did not seem final enough to be the end. I know there is to be other books from Logans perspective but this series from Gratefuls view should have had a more satisfying, complete end.
The whole book was a departure from Gratefuls 'normal' life since she spent most of it away from her home and as such we hardly saw her house, the graveyard and hellmouth, ricks house, or valentines, all familiar settings from the previous books. We did not see her father or her friend Michelle for more than a brief conversation. the wedding at the end was very rushed and quickly shown. For the last one, there should have been more callbacks to the previous books to round it up. I was left wondering why the author finished it there when there was so much more in Gratefuls world
. Sad to see it end really because at just four books i was just really getting into this series.
Further books from different character perspectives wont be the same.
