Morning Glory Milking Farm (Cambric Creek: Sweet & Steamy Monster Romance Book 1) Kindle Edition
Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parents' basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands.
Morning Glory Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . there’s only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn’t something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she’s determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune.
When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his sessions at the farm, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren’t so one-sided after all.
Morning Glory Farm is a short human/monster romance novel (60k), featuring a high heat slow burn with a lot of heart, and a guaranteed HEA. It is the first book in the Cambric Creek Monster Romance series and can be read as a standalone. CWs are viewable on the author's website.

This book had it all: a bizarre but incredibly intriguing (and well-thought through) plotline; a cast of wonderful characters, many of whom I want to befriend; a deliciously high heat, slow burn romance that'll keep you on your toes; and a small fictional town full of different species and some wild experiences.
It's a monster mash, y'all, and I'm ready to pack my bags and move to Cambric Creek.
To be honest, there's not really a whole lot to say about this book since it's one that's better experienced but I will say it is very character-driven. In terms of the actual plotline, not much happens and MGMF is one of those cases where the book is better off for it! MGMF is really about Violet, a human who's drowning in debt, feeling lost post-graduation, and overall just not living her best life. Stuck in a rut and on the verge of moving back to her parent's in a town she was glad to leave, she makes the life-changing decision to take on a full time job at Morning Glory Milking Farm. And there, her life begins.
Violet's growth and development is realistic and gradual. She creates her own life with this new job, and slowly making friends and branching out into the new community where her work is based. By the end, she is more self-aware, understanding and authentic. I really loved this for her and I enjoyed every moment of her journey.
Please note: sometimes readers can find that reading every little detail of the day-to-day as a bit monotonous but I didn't find this to be the case at all with MGMF. In fact, I found it to be very comforting as I really got to explore her character growth.
And of course, Rourke, the minotaur hero. Three words: Stern Brunch Daddy😍
Basically, this book was absolutely amazing and I'm definitely going to check out Girls Weekend (orc romance written by Nascosta) and anything else this author publishes in the future. There's even a teaser for Sweet Berries (hello, Mothman!), another of Nascosta's books coming soon, and I am on high alert for its release!
The author (new to me) explores a world where different creatures coexist with an underlying prejudice of mixed relationships built on a lack of understanding and some entrenched views.
I really enjoyed the slow burn between the Minotaur and the h (human).
Her new job and life in the city away from her family gives her an introduction into the way different creatures live. Like the carefree vampire she befriends at the local coffee shop.
I'm off to explore more books by this author I like her style.
The cover... it definitely makes you think the book will be weird and only full of monster smut. When this first became big on tiktok I refused to read it but after running out of books to read decided to give this book a try.
But it wasn't as weird as the cover made me this it would be. Everything in the books world is well written and explained, even the idea of the "milking" becomes quite normal in the books context.
The main couple is EXTREMELY cute. Romance and smut levels were on point!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it. The writing was amazing! I loved the open ending and honestly would read about this couple or this world again.
Loved the characters and the setting and it was a relatable heroine who gets her happily ever after with a sexy Minotaur (not so relatable but who cares!) It was a fun and sexy story with an odd job and a HEA. Now I have to stop writing here so I can start reading the next book!
Actually I'm not going to say too much because you'll either be intrigued or put off by the premise of this story. But for those of you willing to try Morning Glory Milking Farm, be prepared to fall in love with our human Violet and the gorgeous Minotaur Rourke. Violet is offering a service *ahem* when she instantly connects with Rourke. It's so much more than a rub and tug...
With an open mind, you too can experience the voodoo this author has conjured to have made me lust over a mythical creature like a dirty perv and love every bloody moment of it. The best part was the unexpected romance and love story woven throughout. 🖤

You know i would never steer you wrong when it comes to entertaining reading and most definitely when it comes to smut. When it comes to kink smut however i realise there are lines some of us will never cross but after reading this about minotaur/human relations, i can safely say….this isnt that line for me! LOL
Make no mistake, this is exactly what you think/the blurb says its about. Theres no secret there and the only reason i dont give it a 4 is cause it is just a smutty book so having it the same rating as a more credible book just doesnt make sense to me. From now on, smut only books are rated out of 3 and this is a 3
A strong Smut-Tastic on the Smut-o-meter, MGMF has no business being this interesting or having such a believable love interest and HEA considering the physical make up of the main. How they get together is believable/natural and has all the feels of a “normal” romance that you honestly forget that he’a a bull….until they have sex
Im tired of pixie sized woman being able to accommodate larger than average peen with ease. Thats not realistic but this, this is with its descriptions and i respect that.
I didnt love the style in that theres a lot of “start at the end of the week then go back and re tell the week rather than just starting at the start of the week” type writing which got annoying. Its clear however that the world and accommodations for creature types was well thought out.
So yes, its good and if your kink levels need testing, try it lol
A...minotaur...milking farm - I'm sorry; what now??
Well, colour me intrigued! I'm up for challenging my reading sphere.
I was expecting horny weirdness, but I also got a sweet romance too - bargain!
Violet is a human millennial who is in desperate need for cash. Her world happens to have a mix of beings living on it. And the minotaurs need to be milked (by pharmaceuticals!).
This is actually way better than it should be. I loved learning about all the different types of beings with a seriously big twist.
Sure, I wanted to see what the vamp meal was like. And maybe delve into her mother's reaction more. But now I'm just being greedy.
Want a highly unusual read? Go for it!
Looking forward to more books in the series.
Downloaded this book as it was floating around my insta - which is pretty much how I find new authors these days- and then spent Friday reading it. Proper page turner.. I started reading it after 5pm 🤣🤣🤣 and that was me pacing myself🤔🤷🏾♀️
Wow! Firstly, yes I’ve read books with shifters that are partially changed and engage in sexual acts but this dude is a minotaur for every second of the day! (Slightly unsure about his face 🤔 but whatever).
So as I said, new to me author and while I did read the blurb and saw the pic I wasn’t sure what to expect but guys… I really enjoyed the book!
It was quite sweet actually and it was the dive in smut smut then one line.. there is an actual story! It just reminded me of stories of guys meeting girls in strip clubs where they are a strippers🤣🤣🤣
Solid 4/5, I think there was like 3 or 4 editing issue but it didn’t kill my vibe, I pretty much read past it (obvs).
I liked the writing style and character development, it was sweet and dreamy but 🥵 when the time came (ha) so win for me really.
💯 recommend it, just dive in … so many different types of species were mentioned, I’m ready for this series to develop👏🏾👏🏾
The writing is excellent, witty and flows really well. The story is well paced, the world building is good and believable, and the characters are well developed. As a reader, I actually wanted to get to know them.
In an effort to avoid having to move back in with her parents, Violet finds herself taking a job at the Morning Glory Milking Farm. Yes, it is exactly what you think it might be. Turns out that minotaur semen has many pharmaceutical uses and many young males who are willing to get paid for what they’d just splash down the drain anyway. Violet is a bit shy about these things but sees her role as more of a medical one than a sexual one and she’s soon a very popular assistant at the farm.
The story is about the lengths some of us have to go to in order to pay the bills and how love can be found in the most unlikely of places. I laughed out loud in several places and was also intrigued about several other things.
Light hearted, fun and steamy. It’s definitely worth a read. I’ll be looking into other titles from this author.
This is about exactly what the title implies.... A Minotaur milking factory.
Violet is just a regular human, needing to get a job to pay off her student loan debt, her credit cards that are maxed out and generally just being able to live and eat on a daily basis.
Rourke, isn't just a regular anything. Well, not in the sense that we know. You see, Rourke is a Minotaur. A huge hulking beast, part human, part bull, living in a town full of other creatures like Vampires, Goblins, Snake people and even Orcs. You can imagine the difficulties that might occur when an Orc is married to an Elf. The whispered expression 'that ain't gonna fit' definitely swings to mind.
Anyway, our romantic couple in this book are a human and a Minotaur.
Violet sees the add for the milking farm, whilst looking for a job in her degree field, but couldn't find anything. Did she really want to be 'milking' Minotaurs? Especially if the visual the ad put in her head is what actually happens there.
With no other choices and bill's to pay, she goes for the inrerview. She gets the job.
Rourke is a great big hulking Minotaur, with great big hulking parts to go with it.
The job involves her sat under a bench with a huge hole in it, the Minotaur sat above, on the 'milking bench' and yep! You guessed it, his manhood goes through the hole, and she starts milking him.
This is where she meets Rourke. For some reason, she picks this particular Minotaur to take a shine to, and gives her task a little extra squeeze, pull and flick of the finger.
Their 'milk' which is actually bull semen, is collected in little milk bottles and they get paid by the ounce.
Told you it was weird.
They take a liking to each other and start seeing where their feelings might take them.
One of the bits I struggled with, is when they properly get together, but Rourke is ok with her keeping her job and 'milking' other Minotaurs.
I think I can honestly say, most men would have a problem if their new girlfriends carried on basically masturbating other males.
So yeah. I can't say I disliked it, but I dont know how some of the 5 stars said they absolutely loved it either. And it kind of just ended. The story of their union obviously isn't finished, but you have to submit yourself to book two, to hopefully find out what happens to them; even though book 2 is predominantly about an Elf and an Orc.
I didn't enjoy it enough to worry about getting book 2.
