Product Description

Continue the Saga of Morna's Legacy Series of time travel romances by USA Today bestselling author, Bethany Claire - Includes Love Beyond Measure (Book 4), In Due Time - A Novella (Book 4.5), Love Beyond Compare (Book 5), and Love Beyond Dreams (Book 6):

LOVE BEYOND MEASURE - BOOK 4: When Grace Mitchell's job sends her to Scotland with her young son, Cooper, in tow, she meets the mysterious, scarred, and alluring Eoghanan McMillan - a man so unlike any she's ever known. She falls for him quickly but, after a spell sends them back in time to the seventeenth century, Grace is forced to accept the amazing truth about the man she's just beginning to know and to re-think the life she had planned for herself. Will their love for one another be enough to make Grace stay in a time so different from her own - a decision that will alter the direction of her young son's life entirely? Or will she sacrifice a future with the man she loves to give her son a life of normalcy? In the end, she may just learn that the decision isn't hers to make.

IN DUE TIME (A NOVELLA) - BOOK 4.5: For Jeffrey Oakes, life in the seventeenth century hasn't been the thrilling change of pace he hoped it would be. Among the Scottish countryside, with women so different from himself, he knows his chances of finding a woman are small. If only Morna could work her magic for him like she has done for so many others.

Kathleen Carter's life is changing. With enough money now saved to fulfill her dream of restoring the castle she inherited, her job as housemaid is coming to an end. All she wants now is for moving day to arrive so that she can get to Scotland. Little does she know that a move isn't the only big change life has in store for her and that perhaps her dreams might include more than devoting her life to a big, empty castle.

LOVE BEYOND COMPARE - BOOK 5: Jane Mitchell has many dreams for her life, but living in the seventeenth century was never one of them. Castle life doesn't suit her, and Jane takes work at the village inn to fill her time. One frigid evening, she takes in the most infuriating man, never suspecting for a moment that he could be the one her soul hungers for.

Adwen MacChristy doesn't want to be laird of Cagair Castle. He would rather spend his days as a penniless wanderer than take on the responsibilities handed to him by his father. On his last night of freedom, Adwen stops at the inn near McMillan Castle and meets the only lass to ever deny his advances, bewitching him in an instant. Suddenly, he finds himself believing that responsibility might not mean a life spent in chains if he has a fiery lass like Jane by his side.

LOVE BEYOND DREAMS - BOOK 6: Gillian Wright dreams of the same man every night - his kind eyes and gentle smile as familiar to her now as her own reflection. She looks forward to her nights spent with him, but when she starts to hear his voice in the winds around Cagair Castle, she can't help but wonder if he's more than a figment of her imagination.

Only pain comes to him when he sleeps. His dreams give him glimpses of all he can't remember when awake. His name and memories are lost to him in a way that leaves him troubled and wanting. Then the opportunity for a new life places him in the path of a lass who seems to already know him. Could she be the key to helping him remember?

This was awesome. I really was not thinking that I would like it so much but I was hooked on characters after book one. Even when you start to think 'I think I have read enough time travel' you start to read the next book and your hooked again. Thanks Bethany to opening up a new genre for me to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story! Hoping for more! 29 June 2014

I'm a HUGE Diana Gabaldon fan. Started reading this series while waiting for Diana's latest to be released. No matter how anxious I was for the new book, I couldn't put this series down to start it! Hoping there will be more to come!

I really enjoyed the story line and depth of the charectors in this series. There are very few gramatical errors. What I found grossly missing was detail! Her lack of descriptions of places and things, ie castle interiors, interior of Morna and Jerry's Inn, Clan colors, etc, and the simple usage of words such as "kilt" versus "plaid" and "linen pants" versus trews" were questionable. Maybe I'm being picky, but there are so many authors who deliver wonderful imagery along with great story lines without graphic sex.
I am looking forward to In Due Time, Jeffery'a story.
I hope if Ms. Claire is going to write more series in this genre, she takes the time to read several series from the most popular authors and then research every thing she can find on Medieval Scots history including fashion, medicine, daily life, castles, etc.
With her talen as a story teller, adding the additional imagery can only send her career soaring!

3.0 out of 5 stars I really wanted to like this but it's just alright. 13 January 2015

I read the first book of this series as a book by itself and then happened upon this box set. As far as this series, I really enjoyed the first book. I enjoy time-travel stories and the first one had everything that I was looking for. I enjoyed the characters and the experiences and couldn't wait to dive into the rest of the series.

The second book was alright. It still had the qualities of the first book but the story revolves around the brother, Arran and Blaire. I won't give anymore away than that but it just didn't capture my attention like the first one did. There is also the aspect of now the characters are able to go back and forth between the 1600's and the 2013's which is a bit overdone. I'm now reading book 2.5 which is an extra novella in this series. So far it's ok as well. I am enjoying it a bit more than the second one but the story line is getting kind of predictable.

I finished the third book in the series and I did enjoy this one. The characters were a bit more likeable however the whole plot of 21st-century-woman-can't-find-love-so-goes-to-the-1600's-in-Scotland-and-finds-a-wonderful-man-and-falls-in-love did get a bit old. There are more books in this series but I think I got my fill.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great series! 6 May 2015
By Heather Howard - Published on Amazon.com

I bought the first book in the series (it was free) and then found the set and decided to get it too. I've enjoyed the series. They are quick fluffy reads. The characters are all likeable. I loved the novella love story between Adelle and Hew. Very sweet. My one big complaint (and it runs through the series) would be the change in POV and tense with no warning. She seems to focus on one characters POV and it becomes the first person POV. She will switch to other characters POV, sometimes mid chapter, and they are all told in the third person. The problem is she doesn't mark the changes and it can be jarring and makes it difficult to determine who's POV your reading. Overall though, I love the stories!

5.0 out of 5 stars sad, mesmerized 22 October 2016

This Series by far is without question exceptional in every way. The details and events kept in suspense I was laughing, crying, sad, mesmerized, scared distraught when so many intense events seem to overwhelm them. It truly felt as if I was part of the story almost as though I was living there with them. It is truly amazing to be able to experience such great writing that your own surroundings disappear and your lost in the events of the story. Kudos to the author thank you so much I look forward to more of your writing in these current days we all need your great contribution.
