I got whiplash from one revelation, no spoilers on which one!
Overall, Devlin and Rosie's story ties the whole series together in a neat little bow. All the questions I had were answered and it was a strong ending to a good series even though the books themselves are standalone.
I really loved Devlin and Rosie and their back and forth banter. I loved Rosie from the start and it was great to watch Devlin go from an ass to a decent guy.

This book is the definition of unpredictable. You *think* you know where the story is going to go, and you *think* you know what all these secrets surrounding the de Vincent family and their past and businesses are, but in the famous words of Ygritte from Game of Thrones: You know nothing.
Jennifer L. Armentrout clearly decided to end this series with a bang, and oh boy did she do just that for Devlin and Rosie's funny, romantic, yet hauntingly mysterious story. She'll keep you on the edge of your seat with secretive scenes she'll decide to unexpectedly throw our way that'll leave us questioning what it is we think we know, and she'll change a characters' tune so that we begin to second-guess them and their intentions. She'll have us laughing out loud at the banter between Rosie and Devlin one minute, and the next she's breaking our hearts with talks and memories of their tragic pasts.
She'll gift us with more chemistry to an already chemistry-filled scene between them that had me CRAVING for something more to happen - because Moonlight Scandals is a slow-burn you guys; a sweet, torturous slow-burn of a story - but then a sudden change in the conversation would leave me speechless once again and craving for something else entirely: answers. To the many, many questions I had throughout reading this book. And just when I thought my mind couldn't be *more* blown than it was, my jaw *more* dropped, my heart beating *more* furiously in my chest... She suddenly and without warning drops bombshell after bombshell on us that near enough killed me over what it was that was revealed.
Things I never in my wildest dreams saw coming.
Things that instantly made Moonlight Scandals one of my favourite reads of this year so far.
I'm STILL speechless at this book and at all that played out, so much so that I am truly surprised I've managed to get this many words out just to write this review. It ended in the best way possible, answered unanswered questions we may have had from Moonlight Sins and Moonlight Seduction, and all in all it just ended this series in a way that did it justice.
If you loved the previous two books of this series, then I don't think you will be disappointed with this fantastically written conclusion. It was truly a spectacular read - one I devoured, one I LOVED, and one I did not want to see have to end.
Rosie and Devlin both have quick wit and sharp tongues when they need too and the pair together are so combustable when they argue together, and it was so good to see the normally level headed cool emotionless Dev react to Rosie poking at the bear.
As more secrets are revealed i really did fall in love with Dev and how selflessly he had shielded his brothers from as much of the darkness around them as he could, the poor guy really deserved someone as warm as Rosie to bring him back into the light.
Rosie has an infectious spirit and the way that she sticks up for Devlin was lovely even if at times she did not know everything about him yet. Her friend group also seems lovely and i really wanted to know more about Sarah. I hope their is a spin off book for her.
Certainly some of the twists revealed can be guessed, but their certainly was one shocker towards the end that i did NOT see coming.
When I started this series, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The first book, for me, was a little on the weak side, the second slightly better, but the third - oh yeah, this one was perfect.
I'm probably biased because I always like the darker characters, and Devlin has enough darkness to feed my twisted little soul. This book was perfect, wrapping up the little threads dropped throughout the other two books, and giving a conclusion that rocked.
I'm kinda sorry the series is over (is it over?).
Can we have Peyton's book.. just to round it up?
The character is funny and the author uses some version of those hilarious expressions she used in the Lux series.
I love the little references to other supernatural stories.
This apart the story is compelling and sexy as hell, characters relatable (weirdly so considering who they are!).
Enough said, shut up and read it. Now. :)
P.S. the note from the author at the beginning is hilarious. She had had me laughing right there and then!!
Every part of this series i have loved. Ever since we met these three brothers and the many mysteries that surround them I've been excited for this book. Some things, one thing especially, I suspected. But Jennifer still managed to surprise me multiple times and in this book completely shock me with an introduction to someone new.
I'm sad that its over but glad all three brothers finally have their HEVs.
I don’t even know where to start this review because a lot seems to happen in it. I just know that I had difficulties putting it down. I think my work might have suffered from it… oopsie.
Okay, let’s start with Devlin then because he was the third and most mysterious brother of all three. I swear that I never really knew how to feel about this one because he seemed to have no emotions and everything seems to be business for him. Then, we finally get his book and I get to see that like more often than not, there is more than meets the eye. I really enjoyed getting more to his background because it explains a lot about his attitude.
Rosie… Rosie… Rosie… God, she is probably one of my favourite characters of this series. I really love her personality and I love how she isn’t scared to tell Devlin what’s actually on her mind. She’s such an interesting character and so funny. When she is first introduced in the second novel, I already liked her friendship with Nikki and I wanted her with Devlin especially after their first meeting; there was something there.
The sexual tension between Devlin and Rosie is off the chart. I don’t know if we can call this a slow burn, but I will say that it kept us begging for them to do something about it for a while. They have such different personalities but at the same time, they are connected because of these differences.
And along this, a lot of events unfold and you don’t even know where to look; Jennifer made sure to write this book to keep us on our toes. A lot I wasn’t expecting and I loved this book for it because I love when I finish a book and I’m like… Okay, they had me there.
This book has everything to keep you hooked from the beginning to the end. Even though it has an end, I wouldn’t mind if more books were added to this series. A lot of things could still be written about this world.
Overall, this was another awesome book in the De Vincent series and if you haven’t started it, please do it now because you won’t be disappointed.
Jumping from the first book to the third, I'm happy to say I don't feel like I'm missing information or am lost. Also the secets and revelations have upped their game like a pro.
Hooboy that was fun. Loved it!!!!
Be warned guys, The Devil is coming.
