Delivery issues aside, this is arguably the best game on the Switch. Deep and rewarding gameplay mechanics that continuously pulls you back in. Notably, this series is known for its difficulty. However, this game is the perfect entry into the series for new players as it ramps up the difficulty smoothly. With free content being released often and the inevitable 'G rank'/'Ultimate' DLC coming later, this is a game worth ever penny of investment. Grab it and try it for yourself.

Monster Hunter Rise takes on the aged all traditional of mainstream Monster Hunter games and introducing a new gimmick/mechanic and streamlining the whole experience.

It is one of the easiest Monster Hunters to get into, and although for newcomers the difficulty curve may feel steep, after a few hours you'll be hunting as well as you know the back of your hand. Happy hunting!

Great entry point to the series for those curious or for action RPG fans looking for more than just hack and slash. Just be prepared to happily spend hundreds of hours perfecting your skills as a hunter, min/maxing gear for you and your NPC helper buddies.

The game itself is great (played demo) but I received stories 2 instead of rise. So keep that in mind I guess?

It's not as graphical realistic as mhw . But there are nuances like unlimited throwing knives, matrix style, wall running ,and a giant mountable combat mut... there are no headset communications in the Nintendo iteration of this game ,but plenty of ways to commune
