Vince is a loner with a very strict code that he lives by and sure expects others to adhere to if he allows you into his life. Sienna is an alone book reviewer because everyone is gone from her life. A twist of fate brings them together. Both book nerds, which they have used as friends instead of other persons. They both see a friend in the other and so starts their adventure together. It is not an easy multi-year trip. In the end we find that Sienna’s belief of Vince is true. “He was kind, sincere, and filled with devotion to the woman he loved.”
Scott Hildreth brings us back into his Selected Sinners club with another interesting member. We get to meet up with some of the Club guys and it is always nice to get to visit with them again. It is Fun to get to find out how and that Jackson is Sienna’s Angel.
This story is not as gritty as some of the other Selected Sinners books but does have surprising twist and “oh no” moments that keep you turning the pages to discover the outcome.
Scott Hildreth’s take on book styles, writers and reviewers is a fun and enlightens. If you have been following the Selected Sinners, You are going to enjoy getting to visit the Club again. If you have not read the series, this is a standalone that is a good place to try Scott Hildreth’s storytelling.
Thanks Scott Hildreth & Good Writing

So several times Scott has said that this is his best book yet, but I find that I’m a loyalist to some of my favorites of his and I just really like the new one. I think he may have finally gotten me on this book! I LOVE Vince & Sienna, I SWOONED!! When you read the belief behind money shot, you will kiss your kindle!
Now the time frame started prior to the first book, so when Axton was talking about the only thing women were good for, I was offended on behalf of Avery & wanted to reach through the book & slap him upside the head. But then I looked up the time frame of the first book and all was right again.
Vince is a loner within the club and he doesn’t really have any close friends. But he is loyal to the core and is there for whatever the club needs for him. He was married to his high school sweetheart for 15 years and was loyal to her, until she wasn’t loyal and that signaled the end of their marriage. He decided that the next woman in his life would have to prove herself over time before he became too invested.
Sienna has lost both of her parents and is pretty much all alone in life. She does have an aunt that she hasn’t seen in about 5 years or so. She craves the nurture & stability of an honorable man, regardless of his profession. When Vince comes into her life, they develop an unlikely friendship to which they spend one day a week eating out and getting to know each other. Eventually that develops into more.
Now, to my other favorite part of the book: I loved Vince’s mom & her interactions with her dog & Vince and Sienna. I think she may have even taken over Mike Ripton’s family, another of my favorite of Scott’s book families.
Vince and Sienna start out meeting randomly and then more purposefully every Sunday. They are friends first and foremost. I loved the slow build to their relationship. Sienna was a riot. Her inner monologue about lusting after Vince was terrific. Her drunken blogging was hilarious! And Vince, goodness if you ever wanted to lust after a BBF, he would do it for you. Tough, quick draw biker on the outside. Sweet romantic who reads novels and has Sunday dinner with his mama on the inside. No wonder Sienna fell so hard for him.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Scott Hildreth book if he didn’t give a bit of inspiration and reflection on the human condition. Two people with histories that may have left them broken, find a way to live life again. The belief that Fate: “The unexpected result of the natural development of life” has a hand in all our life moments. Those we love and those we lose have a profound effect on who we are. The idea that we can change the outcome if we try, doesn’t often occur to people. It didn’t occur to Vince at all without a bit of intervention.
Sometimes I get so caught up in the reading of the story that I don’t pay attention to some details until they hit me on the head. Big Jack is one of my favorite characters from this series. He lives by the same code as Vince—keep your promises. Makes total sense that these two would bond. So happy to see Jack and Em again. Happy, happy that Jackson helped Vince to heal his heart. *Sigh* The whole story is one freakin’ romance novel and I loved it!
Usually I say read a series start to end as characters cross over. I’ll break my rules for this one. Money Shot can totally be read as a stand-alone. Thank you again, Scott, for bringing us fantastic characters to spend time with!

A teeny weeny spoiler alert from here..
As always, as a woman, there was that time when I wanted to grab Vince by the throat and scream in his face, ' You giant hunky moran' but alas books don't allow that, so I had to persist, and thus my reason for loving Jackson as I do. Our guardian angel who points Vince in the right homeward direction.
As regards the structure, I found for brief moments that I was confused when I saw Vince and Axton chatting, with Axton being a bit crude in his view on women and their uses, then I noticed the dates on the chapters, and realized that the story actually happens over a period of time that includes Axton's story, right to the present date. So I just had to wake up a little and take note of the dates, which was actually interesting as we got glimpses of the boys from the past books prior to settling down with their lady loves also. It was nice and this isn't a criticism, rather just a means of letting you know that the book starts a year or more prior to the date it ends at, including the other guys meeting their ladies. And I will also reassure that just because you get glimpses of the other guys, this book as is all theirs, are stand alone novels.
I found the editing great, humor terrific cause she's kooky, and the intimate times both rousing, but also tasteful, cause he's a biker with a biker mouth, but a mans massive heart to love. The relationships in the story were sweet, even if at times strained...but that's life.
Totally enjoyed the story, and was looking forward to the read, and it didn't let me down. I can heartily recommend this story, and in fact all the Selected Sinners books..plus I love that the blurb tells/reassures you right off that once these guys meet their love interests, there's no cheating, and the biker club isn't all about naked women and the mistreatment that so many books today in this MC genre seem to think is appropriate regarding a lot of the female characters. The irony is that it's male writer that offers that comfort level instantly before I purchase, and I don't have to cruise through the reviews to find it from someone elses review. I appreciate that massively Mr. Hildreth, as I love my biker books, but not the crap that some authors write them into.
Money well spent and I'm delighted to have a new resident in my kindle to visit any time I like.
Easy 5 stars!!
Even before I started reading the story I was crying and choked at the dedication.
So enter Vince a fully patched member of the Selected Sinners MC and also a loner he rides with the club and attends club matters but never gets close to it's members. Hot headed and a takes no crap attitude he gives his all and is loyal to those around him, but Vince has the inability to allow himself to get to emotionally close to those around him that is just not how he rolls due to his past, don't let them in and they can not hurt or disappoint you. So what happens when he ends up on the doorstep of Sienna. Sienna is a book lover and spends her time reviewing books and ARC's for authors and she pulls no punches, OMG her reviews and thoughts on those books were hilarious with some fantastic one liners included that had me doubled up with laughter. After losing her mum soon after she was born she was brought up by her father and was a definite daddy's girl, he had installed a great values which molded her attitude to her life's struggles, I kept thinking I wish I could adapt her attitude in my life sometimes.
So the question is what happens when these two meet? Well I am not going to say, no spoilers here I'm afraid but what I can say is it is very explosive in a good way ;) and you will not be left disappointed in anyway!!!
Thank you so so much Scott Hildreth for the fantastic addition to this already seriously great series!!! This book certainly pulled at my heart strings, I loved everything about it and it is totally worth more than the 5* I am limited to give.
It had a constant theme of love running through and trusting that person that you fall in love with. Learning from previous mistakes or hurt and not repeating them in the future.
Sienna and her book reviews were really funny! I'd love to write reviews like that! lol Vince has been hurt in the past and has totally swore off women..that is until he meets Sienna. Their relationship starts slow but you can feel the chemistry between them and it's lovely reading it and watching it grow.
Having Jackson in this too was great and he was very funny! Although this wasn't my favourite in this series I still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!
Can't wait for the next one plz hurry lol
