Come home this Christmas to...
CHRISMAS TOWN, TENNESSEE
Where everyday dreams come true!

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Ginny Baird continues her heartwarming holiday series...

A MOMMY FOR CHRISTMAS
(Christmas Town, Book 2)

Northern Virginia attorney Ben Winchester has spent the past four years being the best single dad he could be to his eight-year-old daughter Lily. Yet, last Christmas, he was unable to give her the one thing she asked for: a mommy. Since his late-wife's death, Ben has scarcely dated at all. He's also had a hard time with the holidays. When Ben and Lily venture to Christmas Town, Tennessee for Ben's sister's December wedding, they discover a village infused with holiday joy. Upbeat Sandy Claus runs the Snow Globe Gallery...loves sleigh bells, winter and kids. She has a special way about her, and is the most caring and intuitive person Ben has ever met. When Ben finds himself falling for the beautiful blonde with big blue eyes, she hesitates about becoming involved due to some unusual family history. Despite complications that ensue, will true love prevail with Ben making his--and Lily's--fondest Christmas wishes come true?

4.0 out of 5 stars A delightful story full of fun, smiles and a few laughs to put you in the Christmas mood. 23 December 2016
By Cyn - Published on Amazon.com
What a delightful read to put one in the Christmas mood. The books title sure fits this story it is all about one little lonely little girl and her lonely father who have come to Christmas town to be in his sister’s wedding and watch over her home why she is away on her honeymoon. Christmas town is an amazing town from the streets to the shops and some of the people have Christmas names. Just like all little towns everyone is in every ones business as they play match marker. The story is a mixture of secrets, love, joy, happiness as a town works to bring one of their own home for good. Sandy Claus is an unusual woman full of mystery and a few secrets as she pulls Ben and his daughter into her magical world.

This story worked for me from the delightful characters to the wonderful events and the outstanding shops. You have to wonder what is up with those cookies they have a mystery of their own. Could the legend be true or is it all a lot of wishful thinking to make people show their true feelings?

Ben had it all a wonderful life, wonderful wife and a delightful family he just adored until the day it all came to an end leaving him lonely with just a small child to take care of. His family now broken with his love of a lifetime gone he is left to raise their little girl. He is a wonderful father always putting her first giving her the love and time she needs. Coming to Christmas town has shown him the things he is missing. It also makes Lily make a Christmas wish that didn’t come true last year.

With Christmas so near and two people pulled together as the attraction takes over they can hardly keep their hands to their selves. Will a little girl fondest wish come true or will a secret tear down a couple everyone wants together?

The scenes are very vivid I could picture the snow globe in my mind with the little reindeer at play with snow falling around them. What a wonderful idea with the sled that she holds so dear to her heart. I loved the princess games and the story behind it. The characters were a delight as well as the wonderful supporting ones. Each adds so much to the story giving you a wonderful read. I did think some parts moved a little fast and I would have liked to have had a little more added to the ending. It really was a delightful story that had me smiling and at times laughing. This is really what the true meaning of Christmas is all about time for each other, love, sharing and giving of one’s heart. There are a few twists that will make you raise an eyebrow holding your breath to see what the outcome is going to be. I loved the plot and theme it really was a delightful read. It truly warms your heart with characters that feel so real you could almost reach out and touch them. I can’t wait to read the next in this series and revisit with people I have come to love.

A Mommy For Christmas (Christmas Town #2)
By: Ginny Baird
A Mommy For Christmas is book two in Christmas Town series by Ginny Baird. I absolutely love the series. The author brings us a very heartwarming romance holiday story. The story and the characters both are so real that you feel like you are right there with them. Ginny Baird captured my heart right at the start and did not let go till the end. This story takes place in Christmas Town, Tennessee where Ben and his daughter, Lily, goes for his sister’s wedding. They meet Sandy Claus who runs the Snow Globe Gallery. You will meet back up with some of the characters from book one The Christmas Cookie Shop. Ben finds himself falling for the beautiful blonde . Sandy has a secret she is not telling Ben. Could this secret hurt their friendship? Sandy loves Christmas Town and cannot see herself living anywhere else. Ben is an attorney in Virginia. There is some magic going on in Christmas Town, could the Virginia Cookies have anything to do with it? Are the cookies really special ? Will Lily get her wish for Christmas?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book ,but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
4.0 out of 5 stars Magical! 26 December 2016

I love the whimsical and magical setting of Ginny Baird's fictional small town of Christmas Town, Tennessee. With her delightful imagination and sweet and clean storytelling this author embraces the most wonderful time of the year and spreads the message of the true spirit of Christmas. I grinned every time Sandy stumbles to hide the thoughts that she's able to pick up on because of Virginia's special cookies and their after effects on Ben. The idea of the heroine being a direct descendant of the original Saint Nick is a twist that gave me permission to suspend reality and go with the flow. Ben is a true romantic at heart and Sandy is more than ready to be wined and dined. Most of all I especially enjoyed the wonderful relationship that quickly develops between Sandy and Ben's 8 year old daughter Lily who desperately yearns for a female role model in her life. I find myself wishing there was a real Christmas Town so I could magically transport myself there for the holidays and live among these quirky and lovable characters. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in this voluntary review are completely my own.
