The Mogul and the Muscle: A Bluewater Billionaires Romantic Comedy Kindle Edition
Cameron Whitbury is used to engineering her way out of any problem. But someone is after her, and she doesn’t know who or why. Throw in the threat of a sex scandal and the frustrating antics of the entitled son of her company’s founder, and she might be in over her head.
But sacrifice her privacy to an overprotective bodyguard? No thanks. She doesn’t need a six-foot-five, motorcycle-riding, square-jawed, hazel-eyed man-beast shadowing her every move.
Jude Ellis is ready to retire from the cloak and dagger stuff to live a normal life. He doesn’t need another client. Not even one with coppery-red hair and mile-long legs who looks hot AF in a sexy pair of heels.
To appease her worried friends, Cameron hires Jude as her bodyguard. And despite their feisty banter and their rampant—and totally inappropriate—sex fantasies, they’re both determined to keep it professional.
But as the danger to Cameron escalates, the heat simmering between them just might combust.
Author’s note: Big wall-of-man hero with a fierce (and growly) protective streak. Confident and snarky heroine. All the banter. Sex in a closet. And a daring rescue with a big, heart squishing HEA.

This is their story and it’s awesome🔥🔥
I have read Lucy Score’s book and plan to read the others.
Enjoy the little scenes with the romance writers doing their thing, obviously a hint at how this group of ladies interact.
Fun and entertaining.
Well written with likeable characters who suited each other.
Jude was just so much man and I feel everybody should have one like him.
Cameron was down to earth for someone who has that much money and influence.
We are given a few suspects as to who the baddie could be. It wasn’t overly obvious but was unsurprising as to who it turned out to be.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.
Jude was pretty awesome! I love a good romcom where a bodyguard falls hard for the person he was hired to protect. It didn't take long for Cameron and Jude to be tempted with crossing those professional boundaries, these 2 had bucket loads of chemistry. Looking forward to Luna and Daisy now.
Hilarious, endearing characters with a well written storyline. Cameron is amazing and Jude is the sexy protector and supporter she needs. Good HEA.
Am loving this whole series. Start with Lucy Score’s Bluewater billionaire book to read in order.
Spoken in: Dual POV

The Mogul and the Muscle by Claire Kingsley is the second standalone novel of four in the Bluewater Billionaires series each book written by a different author in the same interconnected world and group of kickass lady billionaire friends.
Cameron is our lady billionaire in this novel and she is one gorgeous, sassy woman. When an attempted mugging happens her friends think it's a good idea for her to get a bodyguard and who other than the sexy hunk of a man Jude to do the job.
These two were amazing they try to keep their relationship truly professional but they cant help the intense attraction that's simmering between them. It was HOT, sweet with some mystery and danger and I loved every minute of it and let's not forget about all of our other ladies and characters that made an appearance.
Bring on the next book in this series!

Jude doesn't want to step on Cameron's toes as her new body guard and stop her from dominating the corporate aerospace world but his main concern is keeping her safe and sometimes people have to be reined in. Cameron is no woman to mess with and she is one hot mess along the way.
The Mogul And The Muscle is funny, laugh out loud and empowering. I loved how easy it was to read but I did skim read and some of the story didn't seem as if it was needed. I will definitely read other books by Claire because I have heard some amazing stuff but this wasn't a favourite of mine.
One thing that Claire does so well is engage you with the characters by making them real. There’s always a depth to her characterisation that enables you as the reader to feel like you are living through the story with them.
The story is a really great read and a real page turner. I’ve read it in a matter of hours because I haven’t been able to put it down.
Sometimes when the stories are about female Billionaires they are made overly harsh or bolshy, which can make them hard to like or identify with. Cameron Whitbury is nothing like that. She might have money and power, but she’s earned it through hard work and reputation which means she’s more down to earth.
There’s something immediately likeable about Cameron and her merry band of Billionaire friends. Sassy, sexy and fun, these ladies know how to have a good time. They’ve built an entire community complex so that they can enjoy their lives together and share it with other whilst maintaining that balance of privacy.
Having just come out of a failing relationship with her douchebag ex-boyfriend, Cameron is contemplating where her life is headed. She’s not exactly looking for another man, but she’s also at that stage in her life where settling down and starting a family should be on her list of priorities. Instead, she’s dealing with the aftermath of being attacked in her work parking garage. She managed to get away this time, but as there doesn’t appear to be any motive or clue as to the identity of her assailant, Cameron’s friends are understandably worried.
It’s time to bring in the muscle… and my goodness what a hunk of prime muscle he is. Jude Ellis is an ex-marine and CIA agent. Desperate to retire and find a more relaxed and low key existence, he thinks he’s just finished his last job. Ready to put his feet up and learn to play golf, maybe find a woman, settle down and finally have a few kids… but that peace eludes him when his friend Derek contacts him with a new job proposal.
There is a real chemistry between these two from the moment they meet but Jude has a job to do and that is to keep his client safe and find out who is behind the attack. It takes quite a bit to convince Cameron that all this extra protection is necessary, but when Jude presents his theories and concerns, she begins to understand that the idea of increased security might not be a bad thing.
Unfortunately, despite Jude’s very large and menacing presence, whoever is behind the attacks doesn’t seem to take the threat and incidents continue to occur. The more time that Cameron and Jude are together, the more their relationship starts to blur the lines between professional and personal. They definitely have growing feelings for each other, but neither knows how the other feels.
It takes a break in at her own home to really make Cameron realise how vulnerable she is. It also makes her realise how much she needs and wants Jude around. Not just because he makes her feel safe, but because she wants him.
Now, the main fear they both have is losing each other. With the very real threat increasing, Jude’s growing list of suspects start to come into focus. So far they have managed to keep her from being hurt, but where will this end and how far will the perpetrator go? What do they want? And how are they going to get it?
That’s as much as I’m saying about the plot but it’s gripping and a real teaser as to who is responsible. I did manage to guess who it was quite early on, but then I’d also got my suspicions about a few characters.
A few little things to look out for… if you’re a fan of Claire Kingsley… she’s very good at linking her stories through characters from other books or series. In this book, you’ll meet Everly Dalton and Shepherd Calloway from Faking Ms Right. In Faking Ms Right you, at the end of the story Everly attends an interview in Miami… of course, the interview is with Cameron. It’s lovely that she has made that link.
She also mentions Salishan Wine Cellars from her Miles Family Series… and the four authors sat in the next booth in the Drag Queen Bar scenes - could she be referring to the four authors that have written the Bluewater series? Hhhhmmmm very clever!
As always, I loved this book. The emotions, the characters, the plot… everything is fabulous. It feels real and i think that’s why I love Claire’s work so much. This is last book of Claire’s that I have to read, so I’m a little sad. Can’t wait to read the next books in this series and also anything Claire brings us in the future.
Jude is everything you want an Alpha to be! The man knows how to protect his woman and take charge when he needs to! I love how he embraced everything in Cameron's life ♥ and Cameron! Hello Bada** i loved her personality and the fact she showed her emotion through her shoes & was giving everyone a big F You for ever picking on her! She is Fierce! And I love how confident she was ♥ When they both finally started to speak the truth (not in the most appropriate place 😂) it was beautiful and perfect! Claire has done it again and made us all swoon and want more 😍 excellent second edition to the Bluewater Billionaire Series! Each book makes me want more *Gimme Gimme* 😍
I absolutely cracked up at the Kitchen Scene 😂😂 Get it Inda! And Daisy with her Popcorn 😂😂 Not going to Lie that would be me waiting to watch the show 🤷♂️😂💕
If you haven't already read this and are still deciding do it you won't be dissapointed i promise 😘
I felt she could have gone for the closure with her ex, instead of Jude threatening him. It just made me feel like she was being treated like a lady that needs a man to solve her problems.
