Its an ok book

I mean I dont like the author's writing. She takes the story too fast and doesn't use that much dialogue. One second she hates the guy in page 5 and then in page 20 she has feelings for him. And then they've only known each other for a week and they're already saying I love you. Kind of ridiculous. However I will continue reading the rest of the series since it's by different authors.

Not what I expected:/

At first this book got me hooked but then I got so annoyed with the main character Charlotte. She’s suppose to be what 17 im assuming since she’s a senior but acts like a 14y/o with a middle school girl crush. Idk I just assumed that with all she’s been thru and what she’s doing in life I expected her to be more mature. Plus I also expected her to be more strong mentally nope. She’s a mess. She was childish and annoying. Loved all the other characters! Read at your own will.

Great YA Romance!

I loved this one- reading first person perspective really helped me get inside the protagonist, Charlotte’s, head. She is dealing with so much emotionally and into her life comes Lucas- and wow he was a fantastic swoon-worthy hero! There was some great romantic tension and toe-curling moments in this clean YA romance. I’m looking forward to more books in this series!

Misunderstanding The Billionaire’s Heir by Anne-Marie Meyer is a charming YA romance that’s a delight to read at any age.
Charlotte Robinson’s future is in question. Since the passing of her mom she’s just trying to get by one day at a time. While her best friend Maddie and fellow classmates are looking forward to a great senior year and making plans for college, Char is desperately missing her mom and finding solace in her job at the bakery when she’s not babysitting her rambunctious 10 year old brother. If this was not enough, neighbors are starting to complain about her father's new hobby and yard that’s becoming a junkyard full of old cars and parts. Enter Lucas, a very wealthy, handsome, but temperamental young man who’s first meeting with Charlotte is anything but sweet. To make matters worse, Lucas just happens to be the grandson of her boss at the bakery, The Bread Basket.
As much as Charlotte tries to avoid Lucas, events in the town of Sweet Water keep throwing the two together and soon a small flame begins to smolder between the both of them. As Char’s best friend Maddie develops a crush on Lucas and the truth about his appearance in Sweet Water comes to the surface, the beautiful romance that begins to develop between Lucas and Charlotte may be over before it starts. In light of all these events and more, only time will tell if their feelings can survive.
This YA romance was so much fun. The characters were well developed and I was able to get a real sense of the small town of Sweet Water. I really liked Charlotte’s character the best. I could feel her loneliness for her mom and the love she had for her family and friends. She was loyal to a fault, even putting her own happiness on hold for those she held dear. It was delightful to watch Charlotte and Lucas grow as their relationship developed. All in all a very sweet romance that would please anyone.
I enjoyed Misunderstanding The Billionaire's Heir by Anne-Marie Meyer and I am looking forward to additional books in the Sweet Water High Romance series.

Misunderstanding

Charlotte and Lucas were an unlikely pair. She was still mourning the loss of her mother, working at.the bakery and dealing with her dad's "junk yard". His father was ultra wealthy and very controling and class conscious. He had been sent to stay with Vinnie (his Grandmother) as punishment for his previous choice of girlfriend. Despite getting off to a bad start, attraction to each other kept happening. A rocky relationship follows, because of her insecurity. I give it 4 stars
