I enjoyed this series of books, some of the stories more than others. There really isn't any angst or violence and for those who are interested, no sex. They are written from Elizabeth's point of few and many of her comments and descriptions are humorous,. I actually give this 4 1/2 stars because it needed editing, mainly missing or extra words; the kind of errors that one more reading would have found. There were not a lot of errors, unlike so many of the current writings people claim are stories, but it is distracting. Overall I would recommend this series for a light read that will cause you smile, laugh or at least chuckle.
