1.0 out of 5 stars Not finished 6 July 2014
By Janet Williams - Published on Amazon.com

I do not like to read books that tell you to get the next book to finish the story. Will not read this author again. This is a horrible way to get people to buy the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST READ 7 July 2013

It's been a long time since a book caught my attention from the beginning to the end...could not put down! The characters are very believable and you find yourself caught up in their lives right from the start. Great suspense thriller without the graphic details of gore and sexual acts that are in so many books out there. You will not regret the read and will be waiting (like me) for the second installment.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not so much about the mind 18 May 2014
By Bec - Published on Amazon.com

This one was quite short - I finished it in an evening. Based on the title I was expecting to really get into Josie's mind and see how she coped with the kidnapping. But it was more about her body and her thoughts/feelings weren't fleshed out as much as I would have expected. The first part of building up her friendship with Lacey was nice, but not really related to the rest of the story. The abduction part was quite quick and Josie was acting many years above her age in how she dealt with it. I liked the addition of Mason - he made the story interesting.
I was a bit put off by the editing errors, spelling errors, and Josie's Dad changed from Jim to David back to Jim- this made things a bit confusing.
Overall I enjoyed it as a quick read that could have done with a bit of fleshing out.

4.0 out of 5 stars A mind abducted written be Corrine Leigh Donovan. 9 July 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Josie had invited a friend to sleep over and said that
she would meet her at a park that was half way between
her place and her friend's place so that she could help carry
some pillows etc to her place. She never met her friend
as she was kidnapped. Held captive for 6 weeks, she finally escaped
with the help of a young boy who was bullied by her captor.
The feel good book of the year, and I liked the way it was left open
at the end for a follow up story.
5.0 out of 5 stars An intense read 11 September 2015
By Denise Gardner - Published on Amazon.com

'A Mind Abducted' is a quick read, but it will sure play on your emotions big time. The storyline is pretty much every parents worse nightmare. It was incredibly intense. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Josie is an incredible girl. She's wise beyond her years. Mason surprised me. What a hell to live through. I look forward to reading the next book to see how Josie and Mason/Jason come through. A great add to your tbr list.
