There are lots of interesting points made in the book about the way people's ways of communicating have changed in the modern era and challenges the ideas and issues behind this.
As someone who has started to avoid social media and dating apps, this book only reinforced my reasons for doing so. While dating and messaging apps may feel authentic for some.. communicating in person will always be the best way to meet and talk to people.
