Just wow!! I am seriously in love with this series and Midnight Rain did not disappoint. I mean who dosnt enjoy a good love triangle. Kathleen Maree has worked her magic once again, it is very well written and I was once again left wanting more. I don’t know how much more my heart can take, my emotions are all over the place with both Ethan and Jase as I love them both so much and I still wanna shake Bree to wake her up!! I love it when characters get under my skin like these three do. Can’t wait for the next instalment!!
Oh My!!! I could not put this book down!! The character growth was amazing.... the suspence of what path Bree would take kept me on edge!! But that ending.. ahhhhh... give me book 3 NOW!!!!
Another awesome read by Kathleen Maree. Book two is a bit of a slow burn. Bree and I don’t always see eye to eye …. AKA if I could reach into a book and slap some sense into a character I totally would slap Bree! I do however understand that some of the traits I find hard to deal with is just who she is as a person (The world would be boring if we were all the same) I am very glad to see that she has quite a lot of growth though throughout the book and she does have quite a few moments of being badass which I LOVED. Her relationship with Ethan is this books main focus, though we do get a little of my man (well I claimed dibs book 1) Jase. The only spoiler I have is it ends in a Cliffie!! (OMG I was totally cursing Kathleen at the top of my lungs) I cannot wait to see what happens come book three.
This story starts a few wks after Lost in the Breeze finishes. Lake Shore Uni is just getting back from Spring Break. Bree is very sad and confused after Jase leaving. Ethan is still the best best friend anyone could ever want and never leaves her side. The first few chapters were a little hard to read because Bree was so sad and was a little annoying to be honest. Although it didn’t take me long before I was hooked!! Did not want to put it down. Bree really starts to grow and develop some independence and it was fantastic. She also makes some really good choices for her life. I really liked her and appreciated her by the end of the book. Those 2 boys... Jase and Ethan are absolutely gorgeous. Midnight Rain features a lot more of Ethan rather than Jase and I think now it is safe to say I am team Ethan. My new book boyfriend!!! I loved it and I didn’t want Midnight Rain to end. Fortunately it’s not the end of the story for Bree, Jase and Ethan. More to come, lucky us!! Cannot wait for the next one.
Kathleen Mareè has taken Bree, Eth & Jase's story from In This Breeze (LSU book1) and made it into so, so much more in Midnight Rain. The characters have grown, the story has grown and I can't wait to see what's next.
