I love grumpy heros!

I love a grumpy hero and Sam Goodall is one of the grumpiest!! Sam lives off in the mountains, a hermit that barely talks to people when he has to work. He is asked by his friends and business partners to help get their new found sister into the business and train her. He agrees reluctantly and then the fun begins! Hayley has all kinds of issues she is trying to work through but she sees something in San and is determined to befriend him. The grumpier he is, the more she stands up to him. I loved these two together!! Sam could be awful but Hayley held her own and it was wonderful. I can't wait to read the last in this series!

I am a new reader to Nicole Helm the first book in this series was the first book I have read of hers. I loved it and could not wait until this book came out. I got it yesterday and finished it earlier today. I loved this book. This is the story of Sam and Hayley. Hayley is missing something in her life so she goes to Gracely, Colorado in hopes of finding it. Her half brother s live there. Sam Goodall is hiding and has been for years since his sisters death. He works with Hayley's brothers at Mile High Adventures as a backpacking guide. He owes his life to Hayley's brothers so he cannot say no to them when they ask him to train Hayley. It is hard for Sam to open up to Hayley. It was so fun watching Hayley work at tearing down the walls Adam has put up. This story felt so real I could feel Sams pain and couldn't wait to see what happened between Sam and Hayley. I cannot wait for the next book and I recommend you check out this book it is great!
