This book is certainly a mine of information about pets, with indepth articles about anatomy, physiology and veterinary topics, everything you want and need to know about keeping animals, however it is aimed squarely at the North American market, with hardly a mention of British methods. I have some rabbits, and the vaccine for myxomatosis is available here for their protection, but is not available in USA, so euthanasia is advised in the event of infection. A lot of the diseases and conditions described are common in the USA but not in GB.
An interesting and informative read, but held back by its bias to the American reader.
