I’m going to get my 20 year old daughter to read it so she will understand me better and not be phased when she inevitably approaches the change of life! Great go to book full of so much no nonsense help and information.
For me there’s no mention of LP or LS two conditions where there is conflicting advice about HRT is good for the skin in a certain area! It would be good for this to be included.
Also what about when you are no longer peri but full menopause what’s the difference in the body response to HRT be good to see that in the book, along with why are many not been prescribed this beyond 60 and bust the myth that its not a NICE guideline of the age for it to be stopped or the ten year marker.
It’s certainly a book to have from the start. However if your planning on the clinical visit as with all that offer the golden ticket to the answers, it’s expensive and not accessible to all, which again is something many never think about.
I’d love to see this book on a roadshow with free access to professionals.
Don’t be put off by the three stars LP and LS are common conditions never talked about but have huge impacts and the advice around menopause and HRT needs clarity.
Give it a whirl it’s a good read.
