When I first started reading this series, I was very reluctant to read more but I’m so happy to have persevered with it as it was a really good story. This book seemed to suck me in more than the others did but I think it had more to do with the fact that Alec and Lumen both find out the same day that the respective people they care about had gone missing. Alec is trying to find his daughter and Lumen is focused on finding a foster sister who’s disappeared😢 However, it leads to a rift between the couple and their respective journeys back to the other❣️
I’m definitely hoping for more in this series as I’d like to know more about Eoin and the others😁 I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my honest review😍
This is the third book in the Scottish Billionaire series. Alec and Lumen are back, and both are having to deal with important people in their lives going missing. Emotions understandably run high, but sometimes a bit of selfishness comes through. But luckily, stubbornness and tenacity can go a long way to acceptance and forgiveness. Alec really needs to pull his head in a little bit, and consider others’ points of view more quickly – if he’s to find happiness. And hopefully the bond of dealing with loss and their own histories will bring them back together, where they belong. Both Lumen and Alec have their own disappearences to deal with while one maybe in danger the other is just out of spite. This sets in motion a split between the two as to where their loyalties lie and also a test for how much Alec will help Lumen when she needs it. Love the inclusion of Alec's family in this book and how they rally around him I still feel that he wasn't very stern in his dealing with Keli but I guess thats just cos I didn't like her much from the get go lol. Look forward to reading more about Alec's brothers and sisters.

This was another fantastic book by this author !! Emotions are all over the place as Alec and Lumen are trying to find the people they love that have disappeared :( Start reading this series you won't be disappointed. I received a free copy of this book for an voluntary and honest review.
The final book in the series and what a final instalment it is !! . At the end of the last book Alec had decided that he was going to ask Lumen to move in with him , he decided to do this after telling his ex that there was no chance that they’d be getting back together which angers Keli . When Alec goes to pick his daughter up from school he had a bit of a shock when he discovers that she’s not there ,he was annoyed thinking that Keli has picked her up . Anger turns to worry when he realises that his Keli hadn’t even brought Evanne to school today . Around the same time that this was happening Lumen had news that Soleil had gone missing , naturally Lumen was concerned about Evanne’s disappearance but was more so about the troubled teenager situation . Things developed very quickly when it’s discovered that Keli has taken her daughter away somewhere and is not interested in taking to Alec when she disconnects her phone , the situation with Soleil turns very serious when she turns up at Lumens door in a semi- conscious, battered and abused state . There’s a lot of drama throughout the story which Alec’s brothers are keen to be involved in to get Evanne back and then when they find out what’s happened to Soleil they waste no time in helping Lumen get justice for Soleil thankfully though the ending is perfect for all concerned .😍😍
Absolutely fantastic. Loved these characters and their connections with each other. Loved the storyline between Alec and Lumen. Absolutely adored Evanne and Soleil. Beautiful story so well written. I love all Mary's books and this set was no different. So happy Lumen and Soleil got such a wonderful HEA and Alec and Evanne couldn't have been more amazing Family members to them both.
