I'm only up to chapter 2 and I am loving this book. This author, this woman, has gotten into the head of us stubborn men to find out what is going on in there. And yes, yes, yes we now feel like second class because culture and the legal system is against the male gender. I've advocated for equal rights since day one and I'm a 38 year old married man. I love my wife and children, but I just put up with the abuse to ensure I see my kids are properly raised with a father and supported properly, because funny enough, I'm the soft and caring parent. We need to balance the legal system and have the courts listen.
A well written and lucid account of the plight of the American man and subsequently men in the Western Hemisphere, especially Australia. The ideas presented are a timely reminder of the responsibility Man has to his boys especially and to society in general. Despite its name it is a well balanced book for both genders. An important book for all to read as it explains concisely the way men think and the driving forces in nature which both sexes are subject to.
This book should be compulsory reading for any man who has gone through separation or divorce. Dr. Smith's insights are brilliant and can greatly reduce the healing process. For the future of society as a whole, this book should be read by all politicians.
