Product Description

Life is like ice cream: you have to take it one lick at a time...

Those of you who've been with me for a while will know I have a bit of a thing for ice cream. Three books - Tempted By Trouble, Anything But Vanilla and Vettori's Damsel in Distress - have charted the romances of the three Amery sisters who founded the ice cream events business "Scoop!".

Often one book will lead to a spin-off - great characters cannot be left dangling while the main event sweeps on to its inevitable conclusion.

Two such characters were that magician with ice cream, Ria (Knickerbocker Gloria, herself) and uptight millionaire with a passion for opera, Graeme Laing.

Sorrel Amery's parting gift to him was to tell him that Ria loved the opera. Great Uncle Basil's response was that she would "shake the creases out of his pants".

Melting Mr Frosty's Heart is a short story that catches up with the moment when Graeme, much against his better judgement, decides to ask Ria to join him in his box at Covent Garden.

Will she say yes? Do opposites ever attract? And what does happen to his pants?

This is a sensual and fabulous short story MS Fielding brings two people who are totally opposite together for a fun and sizzling short story.

Ice-cream and opera do they go together? Well apparently they do when uptight millionaire Graeme and anything goes ice-cream maker Ria are pushed together by a close friend, the spark between them is extremely strong but Graeme is a bit reluctant at first but since he made the first move Ria is not going to let him go.

I highly recommend this story it will have you smiling with their sizzling journey to a wonderful HEA I truly loved it and well ice-cream and love and romance go hand in hand sit back with a drink of your choice and enjoy, you will not be sorry.

A novella after my own heart. I am partial to the name Graeme and this character did not disappoint me. And who can resist a story mixed with ice cream? Now just any flavors, but exotic and delicious ones from Ria's shop. Not only does she melt hearts, you might want to catch the drips from your cone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sheer perfection! 8 August 2016
By Julie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
A spellbinding short story that is sheer perfection from beginning to end, Melting Mr Frosty’s Heart is a wonderful romantic read from one of the best writers in the business: Liz Fielding.

After having had his heart well and truly broken, uptight millionaire Graeme Lang had vowed to err on the side of caution and to keep his emotions under lock and key. In his structured and well-ordered life, Graeme has got neither the time nor the inclination for chaos – which is why he gives ice cream owner Ria Mason a very wide berth! With her riotous curls, unconventional dress sense and laid-back approach to life, Ria is as far removed from Graeme’s idea of the perfect woman as it is possible to get – so why on earth is he even contemplating asking her to accompany him to the opera as his date?

Bohemian Ria is well aware that Graeme isn’t exactly her number one fan, but when he asks her – like a nervous teenager – to go with him to the opera, she cannot help but be intrigued. She had always dismissed Graeme as a stuffy, old-fashioned and rather dull man who wouldn’t know a good time if it hit him in the face – so why did she say yes to his invitation? And why does she then proceed to kiss him again and again?

Ria and Graeme are polar opposites, but will they realise that they’ve more in common than they first thought? Is theirs going to be a merely no-strings arrangement? Or will they soon come to the realization that opera isn’t the only thing that they both love?

Melting Mr Frosty’s Heart is an absolutely splendid short story that made me laugh out loud and brought many a tear to my eye. Liz Fielding is a phenomenally talented writer of romantic fiction and in less than 30 pages, she packs more pathos, emotional punch, humour and heart than other writers do in 300 plus pages. I absolutely loved this short story: Ria is a terrific heroine who is believable and realistic because she shares the same worries and has been through similar ordeals that we can all relate to and symphatize with and I loved Graeme – strong, silent and very sexy, he is the latest in a long line of gorgeous Liz Fielding heroes.

A first class tale from a much-loved writer who just keeps getting better with every book she writes, Melting Mr Frosty’s Heart continues to affirm Liz Fielding’s standing as one of the giants of the genre!

Fielding's writing is spot on in this opposite attract short story than shows us the heat between the uptight hero and the non uptight heroine.

I loved everything that was here but want more time for falling in love and blending. Just a few more chapters.
