Engaging story and mystery as well as enjoying a growing romance story between characters that I enjoyed in Meet Me at the Hanging Tree. An enjoyable 3 day spring read in semi lockdown and I am still thinking about the characters and what might happen in the third book the series.

Really enjoyed this book. A follow up to Meet Me at the Hanging Tree but reads well as a stand alone. Engaging romance with likeable characters and a mystery to solve as well. Really good value for money.

It's FunReviewed in Canada on 22 January 2021
When Stella walks in on her so-called fiancé, Mike, playing kissy-face and more with another woman, she feels devastated and calls off the wedding. She knows she’s made the right decision in kicking him to the curb. But then why do her parents and sister question her judgment? They should support her, not try to send her back into Mike’s arms. Later, more surprises are waiting for her. When Mike is in a hit-and-run, everybody looks at her. A friend arrives to help her figure out her messy life just in time. It is then that her love life takes a new direction. Author T. J. Beach’s "Meet Me Under Brooklyn Bridge" is a romantic mystery with humorous undertones. It's fun. In particular, I liked Stella, who has much spunk. You will too. If you like comedy-mystery that’s light and has a kick-back feel to it—this book, a sequel to "Meet Me at the Hanging Tree," is for you.
Cute store - great detective work!Reviewed in the United States on 29 January 2021
This was a cute love story. Though I absolutely was pissed at the parents (read the story you will understand) and mike was such a loser! But Stella and Sean were just so adorable. And Stella was a little sassy and I loved that! The part about asking mike about the chocolates really made me LOL... great character development and I loved the story. Must read. The old school sleuthing is the best!
