have to be honest, I haven't read this (I am blind), it was bought as a present for my ill wife (at her request) in hospital. sadly she passed away before she could read it. it was the last thing I ever bought her, so giving it 5 stars as it'll always remind me of my wife, and that's good enough for me to give it a perfect 5.

I have bought 3 of these diaries, one for me and because I loved it so much, i bought one for my daughter and one for my sister. I agree with other readers that you can hear Dawn's voice as you read. I use mine before going to bed and write in the best bits of my day, whilst partaking in the fun bits with Dawn, its like having her as a friend for a sleepover. Definitely worth buying.

My wife is a fan of dawn french and when this book was mentioned on a chat show, my wife said she would like it as one of her christmas presents, i duly bought it only to find it is exactly the same book as me.you.a diary from 2017, which my wife already owns, except that this version doesn't have the pages to put your own diary entries in. I think that it is a disgrace that this isnt made clear on the description of the book and i am writing this as a warning to stop others being ripped off.

In fact on delivery I had to stop myself reading it in case it looked second hand when I gifted it, as I thought it was an interesting read and the book/diary an interesting concept. Might just get one for myself. No issues with service, delivery or packaging.
