This playbook is really a guided journal for creative healing. It can be interpreted in many ways to facilitate healing from loss at your own pace and in your own unique way. There are beautiful illustrations to colour in, prompts for reflection and plenty of space for journaling. It's layout is calming and non-confronting and although originally designed to be completed over 31 days can be used at your own pace and completed faster, slower or out of order. I found the journey of using this book both enlightening and empowering as it allowed me to be creative and also to explore things I would not have otherwise. The authors showcase their knowledge in an extremely effective and helpful way. I highly recommend this to anyone who has experienced loss of any kind, particularly its original audience grieving parents.

Amazing and really helpful..o
Wouldn't bother buying just do online in a journal...Reviewed in Canada on 8 July 2017
I found it ok nothing as special as I had hoped for the price. And the pages are thin so you have to be careful with markers/pens or paints if you get the softcover version. And following along online I found I didn't use the book after the first day, I just used a nice journal of my own and the prompts posted online. The book is out of date with the prompts from the year it was published. you can still use it but the list of the whole month's prompts isn't correct. I was disappointed and plan to use it for something later and do the older prompts.
It is perfect and much neededReviewed in the United States on 4 May 2016
It is perfect and much needed. I am a mother who has experienced loss and this is a great and creative way to express my emotions, my journey, my grief. I know that it will help especially with Mother's day being right around the corner.

Not what I was expectingReviewed in the United States on 4 October 2017
Not what I was expecting and has pretty much set unused. Probably should have returned but wasn't worth the bother.
