BrilliantReviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2021
WOW loved the book at first didnt know what to expect and have had it on my kindle for a few weeks but its brilliant, its a cross between Highlander, Gladiator and Braveheart the main characters are strong and engaging it was a super page turner, its a small thing but loved the chapters were in Roman numerals got my brain thinking to work out which one i was on, in lockdown every little helps. I will certainly seek out more books from this very talented author and cannot wait the read the other 2 books in the series 5 plus stars.
Unputdownable!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 January 2021
Loved this book, I usually read a book, quickly forget it & move onto the next one as I read a lot. This book however really gets a grip of you & putting it down is next to impossible. Have learned that this is the first in a series & oh boy I’m certainly looking forward to the next one. This is a brand new author for me & fast becoming a favourite.
Good readReviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2021
Its a good read if you enjoy this type of book. I do as I love historical and some of the paranormal novels and this combines both. Loved the hero and heroine in this tale and look forward to the follow ups

This book was not my sort of book but how wrong I was- I simply couldn't put it down. Must read others by Jayne Castel.
