Product Description

The heartbreak of their childhood drove the Morgan brothers far from their family’s California ranch—and one another. But as they face the wounds of the past, each feels the land calling him home . . .
Blue Morgan never thought he’d crave long days on horseback, working the cattle ranch where he grew up. But after a decade of getting shouted and shot at in the Marines, fresh air and hard work are just what he needs to settle his restless energy. Except no matter how hard he tries to focus, his mind wanders to the pretty, prickly new veterinarian instead.
There’s no denying the spark between Jenna McDonald and Blue. But with her job at risk and her own family’s expectations to wrangle, Jenna isn’t looking for another sparring partner. Blue needs her expertise on horses. And if she can help solve his mother’s disappearance, she’s willing to pitch in. But she’ll leave his ideas about how love should be scheduled to him. Jenna is tired of being told what she can’t have—and ready to reach for what she wants . . .
“If you love cowboys—and who doesn’t—you’ll love the Morgans!” —Cora Seton, New York Times bestselling author on The Reluctant Cowboy

A Navy Seal, Blue, comes home to the family ranch and meets local vet. His father returns, sober, after many years, and he and his brother try to bring the family back together and locate their missing mother and younger sister. Blue also finds out he has a ten year old daughter from a one night hook up ten years before. Through all this Blue and the vet, Jenna, find time to fall in love and have lots of sexy hook ups. Another great read in the Morgan family story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story 4 April 2017

I would have liked a little more to the ending.
Makes me think I have to read the next books to find out.
Was there a wedding for Chase and January, what about Blue, did he marry. And the drunk father ?????
Hate the cover, first he doesn't look like Marine or a cowboy. He doesn't have a happy, angry or inquisitive look on his face, not sure what he's suppose to be thinking.
He looks almost looks miserable.
Sorry to be so picky, I pick a great deal of my books by the cover and name then I read the description and page count.
I love the story and the characters, just kind of leaves a bunch of questions. You should write that you need to read all the books in order.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blue - Morgan Ranch 26 April 2017

This is the 2nd book in a series. The Morgan brothers have spent a long time away from their family ranch. When they were young their mother disappeared with their baby sister never to be heard from or seen again, their father became a suspect, and later an alcoholic that abandoned his 4 young sons with his mother. 20 years later, Grandma Ruth is bringing her grandsons home one by one, and bringing the family ranch back to its former glory in the process.

Blue Morgan is the 2nd oldest grandson. He's spent his life in the Marines since he left the ranch, but not hes returning home to form a new relationship with his older brother and to help his grandmother with the ranch. Since his return there is a new vet in town that has caught his eye, but he may have put his foot in his mouth at their first meeting and will need to work a little harder to gain her affection. It might not help that his past come knocking on the door when he least expects it.

In love with the series, would recommend to anyone who likes a good looking cowboy who respects his grandma.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this and can't wait to read more. 27 April 2017

I loved this story so much, that I just went to the author's site to ordered the 1st. and 3rd. book in this series. My heart broke for the whole family, but I have a lot of hope that everyone in the family finds some kind of peace and acceptance, for the horrible past that they had to live through. I lovedthe story of Blue and Jenna, they were absolutely perfect together. Together, they were both able to finally find their long awaited inner peace, love, and self-worth..

I also loved all of the secondary characters, too. I think they all had a huge impact on the story, and hopefully we'll see them all again in future books.

This is NOT a cliffhanger, however; if I had one would have been for a better ending. I know this is part of a series, and that we'll find out how things turn out in the next book. BUT...I want to know now!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story 16 March 2017

I love how the big bad marine with only black and white thinking learns to deal in grays. Not only does the author throw a girlfriend at him when he's not ready to have one but she throws him another curve ball, just great! Family dynamics always come into play when you least expect it! Write fast I can't wait to read the next one!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not nearly as engaging as the first one. 8 February 2017

Wow, not sure what happened to this one but the dialogue was dry and not engaging like the first one. It seemed to skip from one subject to another. The 'relationship' didn't develop as smoothly as the first one, rather they just kind of jumped into it. There wasn't much marine in the marine at all, just hints at his former occupation. For me it comes down to the fact that I just don't want to keep reading to figure out what happened to mom and daughter. This one just wasn't up to par. Sorry.
