When a power-crazed despot schemes to buy California from Mexico, it takes two Zorros--the legendary Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins) and his chosen successor Alejandro Murrieta (Antonio Banderas), a dashing bandit-turned-hero-- to defeat the tyrant's unscrupulous plans. But can even their combined skills, bravado and derring-do be enough to achieve de la Vega's ultimate goal: revenge against the man who killed his wife, kidnapped his daughter and held him prisoner for twenty years?

Every time I watch this Zorro, it gets better!6 November 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
With the exception of the oldie-goldie movie Sacaramouche, you won't find a better swordplay film with such an enticing love story. Antonio Banderas plays the part of the wannabe Zorro to perfection. I love his toasting the death of his brother in the lair of the killer. His ballroom dance with Catherine Zeta-Jones is fabulous: smooth, sexy and has all the moves of a Latin Dance which will awe you as a watcher! Zeta-Jones is in her realm as Elena, the kidnapped daughter of the first Zorro, played by Anthony Hopkins who as always gives depth and life to every role I have ever seen him perform. An adventure/love story film that will make you want to watch it again at each stage of your life. Wow! Rough Enough

A fun, swashbuckling treat of a movie6 October 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
A fun, swashbuckling treat of a movie! The cast is pitch perfect. Antonio Banderas makes for a superb Zorro, Anthony Hopkins is brilliant as his mentor, and Catherine Zeta Jones has never looked lovelier on the silver screen. Plenty of great swordplay, fights filled with colossal billows of dust, and practical stunts which makes this extra fun to watch. The script is wonderfully written. It has the perfect balance of action, romance, humor, and warmth. This is the type of movie you will want to watch again and again. HIGHLY recommend.

This is the best Zorro movie ever!2 July 2018 - Published on Amazon.com
I have seen every movie about Zorro starting with the silent Douglas Fairbanks version. This movie has everything including action, romance, comedy etc.. The sword fights are utterly amazing (even better than the Basil Rathbone/Tyrone Power swordplay in The Mark Of Zorro). And let's not forget the music. James Horner's music to this movie is fantastic. Greatly enhancing the movie experience. Really sad that he is no longer with us. Along with John Williams, he was one of the best modern soundtrack composers ever. This movie is a must own for collectors everywhere.

This is a great movie.6 June 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
Oh,, Catherine Zeta Jones Is Worth 4 Stars,,, Just For Being Catherine Zeta-Jones... This is a great movie... Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas Are Just The "Epitome" of Zorro, And Then He's Brought To Life Right Before Your Eyes... This movie must of cost "Millions" to produce, nothing is spared with this great all star cast... From The Opening Scene, You Are Gloriously Transported To Another Place In History... This Movie Is "Engrossing,,, Captivating",, and So Very "Entertaining"... You Are Almost Brought To Tears, When The Big Z Ends Up On The Screen, and You Know Your Journey Is Over, Until "Zorro" Rides Again...
