Product Description

This book is the first in a series starting with the ancestors of Mary of Nazareth. It is largely a compendium of love stories relating to the life and times of Mary and Jesus and their friends and acquaintances. For God, in essence, is a god of love. It starts with God’s love for man which is personalized in Mary and her son Jesus and, of course, in the love between Mary and her beloved carpenter and husband Joseph. I suggest that Love is God’s best gift to mankind. Remember, God gave it, but God is mastered by it.

Mary, the mother of Jesus of Nazareth, was prophesied in Genesis and the early writings of the Jews. She inspired several of the great Jewish prophets and later many Christian writers.
When God chose to be born on earth as a man, He put aside his powers as God and Mary was his teacher and spoke for Him during his younger years.

This book starts with Mary’s parents and ends with the Flight into Egypt to evade King Herod. In later books, Mary travels to Anglia and to Ephesus, while Jesus travels widely in the Middle East, India and China to better understand other religions of the earth.

But God in His love for them did not abandon them. He set in motion a series of events which yielded a sinless Virgin Mary. Her baby, Jesus was born by Divine intervention making him the Son of God and the Messiah of the Jews, as promised in Genesis. As man and God, He could undo the grave insult to God by Adam and Eve's sin, by living and dying to the Father's Holy Will. This book is then a sequel to the story of Eden, where Jesus' sacrifice and cruel death many centuries later, reversed the insult to God and the gates of heaven were unlocked to those deemed deserving.

This book discusses Mary's parents, Mary's Immaculate Conception, her time in the temple, Joseph her beloved, the birth of Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem and the visit of the Wise Kings. Following the Presentation in the temple, the Holy Family flees to Egypt from Herod who is seeking to eliminate a threat to his kingship. Like all the books in this series, this is a love story. The author begs your indulgence for errors and omissions.
