Dense, inconsistent, and not great for students3 October 2012 - Published on Amazon.com
My dosage systems class in pharmacy school is currently using this textbook. While the book is informative, several chapters give over 100 equations for only a few topics, making it hard to reference for standard equations. There are in chapter problems that are helpful, but you must go online for additional problems that have answers attached to them. Unfortunately, these online problems neglect to provide all information required for each problem (i.e., Ka values) and you are required to look online for this information. The problems are often difficult to solve and do not match well with the textbook information. Even though answers are provided for these, the steps in how they got the answer are not provided, making it hard to use as an additional study aid. Do not buy this book used, as the online material is only available to 1 email. The book is often inconsistent in writing variables in equations (i.e., sometimes a capitalized, sometimes a lower-cased, differences between chapters). It's sad, but overall if you are looking for this as a reference source, I would suggest not purchasing and just using Wikipedia when you need information on a topic, as I often find myself having to read topics on there to clarify poorly explained topics in the book.

I bought this book for class but i unfortunately never used it so i cannot give a valid review but i know people in my class used it all the time and they were really happy with the expkanations
