I absolutely hate when the h is in deep freeze and the H is out messing around wherever and whenever he wants. Yes, I understand he didn't know the annulment was blocked, but he never went to check on it either. She moved out of her parents' house because she was so traumatized by being thrown out by her new husband, so she never knew the documents didn't get to her. Regardless, this is the thing I hate more than anything, because he obviously did not love her in any shape or form. He had the dumb reason about the OW, who was more friend than anything, who got in a car and died. This H was just too stupid and selfish, and I didn't care for him.
Well written, but the character of the H put me off. Sorry.
