The Marriage Promise Book 4 in The Billionaire Games by Sandra Edwards. 5 Stars ***** Great Read *****
Reviewed in the United States on 22 July 2015Verified Purchase
The Marriage Promise continues as Deidra Ferguson, best friend of Leci de Laurent from book 3 The Marriage Fix is headed to Hawaii for the ceremony to spread her parents ashes. This is where she meets and falls in love with John Sinclair and his children Amy and Emily who are also there to spread the ashes of his wife Jessica who died of cancer 3 years earlier. This is a story of letting go of the past and starting new. Sandra Edwards is a wonderful story teller and she knows how to draw you into her stories and feel the pain and the love right along with her characters. I enjoyed reading this book along with all the others in the Billionaire Games series. I recommend that you start with The Wedding Bargain book 1 and read each book. I know you will enjoy them as much as I did.

ANOTHER "FEEL GOOD" STORY BY A FAVORITE
Reviewed in the United States on 10 September 2014Verified Purchase
I received an ARC from this author for an honest review.
I loved this newest story of John and Dedora finding love for each other in Hawaii. John's two daughters added just the right touch for a sense of family. I found THE MARRIAGE PROMISE to be a sweet and lovely short story and just wish it had been longer. I felt that the feelings of both daughters could have been explored a bit more and could have been dealt with. I love that the author is filling us in on previous characters and what is going on in their lives. Sandra Edwards is becoming one of my favorite authors.

Thank you, Ms. Edwards

Sandra Edwards has another romance that is off the chart! Even in this sad occasion, she is able to transition the story romantically and provide us with the love of a lifetime.
John and Deidra are both in the same place for similar reasons which happen to be a sad occasion but they develop a friendship that quickly turns into love and marriage. Ms. Edwards' books give me the knowledge of what I should expect, deserve and will get with my own soul mate!

Nice story

It was nice to continue the series with Lecie's best friend. Conveniently he's from a big family so the series can continue. This was fun, but because it takes place in a short time frame the characters were not as developed. Also, the author used a few too many parenthetical asides. "The centerpiece (flowers) was..." Etc. other than that, it was a cute, quick read. The first is still my favorite of the series.

Another amazing addition to this series.

Just like all of the other books, Deidra finds love where she least expects it and almost loses it due to pride and confusion. I love the dynamic's of this book, and the two young girls stole my heart right away, especially little Emily. I wasn't real crazy about the ending though, it just felt rushed. I wish the book would have been longer in order to develop the characters a bit more, but otherwise I thought it was a great!
