The perfect reference book for both teenagers and adults to simply use their money wisely
Reviewed in Australia on 16 November 2019
I read Noel's first release in 1987. As the designer of Financial Mappers, I have spent a lifetime reading investment books and now I like to keep my followers up to date with the best investment books. I was very excited when I found Noel was releasing a completely new version and ordered it pre-release.
This new version is now at the top of my Good Financial Reads. So often investment books are full of jargon and too complex for the person who just needs to get started. Whether you are are just a simple wage earner who needs some simple direction in money management or a person who wants to learn about better money management, investments, and superannuation you will not be disappointed.
Congratulations to Noel for seeing the need to have an online resource center for people who buy his book. Here he will keep you up to date with the ever changing world of tax, investment strategies, and superannuation. Lots of complimentary additional info and some fantastic calculators to keep you on track.
It is such a pity our government does not give more weight to the importance of financial literacy with our children. I would recommend this is the first investment book you should give to your children. As soon as they start high school, they should be thinking about careers and how to manage the money they plan to earn. I believe that doing this will reward both you and your children for years to come.
