Grayson and Drew loved each other fiercely since childhood, he was her brothers best friends, and partner in crime suppose and suppose to be off limits.
Best friends to lovers are such beautiful love stories, and Make you Mine is one of those, beautifully written with so much heartache and longing you can't keep your eyes from it. It is a sweet and powerful romance that tugs your hear and you keep reading until you see that HEA.
Drew is sassy, strong and doesn’t leave things unsaid.
She fights for her family with no bounds, when she loves she loves with her soul.
Gray oh gosh I swooned for him so much, after a tragedy and feeling wrongly guilty he carrying his life broken and pushing away those his love the must.
As their story reveals you see how much the feelings they have for each other, all the loss and heartache.
Tia Louise thanks for the fantastic reading it will be on my mind for a long time.

Make you Mine is all about 2nd chances and that is exactly what Gray and Drew need, after sneaking around their teenage years Gray with Drews older brother headed off to college and then enlisted leaving Drew behind. When war takes its toll, Gray is left with nothing but very real memories haunting him and Drew wondering why Gray has never come back for her. When Gray arrives back everyone wants to welcome back the War Hero, Drew soon realises that she will never be over Gray and will do everything she can to make sure he never leaves her again.
Gray is fighting his own demons, wracked with guilt and PTSD he doesn’t want to hurt the one person he loves more than anyone. Drew is smart and independent, she has a fierce and feisty side that comes out when threatened, she is determined and goes after what she wants.
Gray and Drew have intense sexual chemistry, from the moment they were in each other’s space they are magnets drawn to each other exploding on impact. Their chemistry will burn the pages.
I personally enjoyed this book, while it took me a little while to get into the story with both past and present POV’s once the story stayed in the present, I couldn’t put it down. This is my first story by Tia Louise and I cannot wait to read Ruby and Remi’s story, Make me Mine.

Drew and Grayson are what older brother's best friend romance is all about. The slightly forbidden, the long term friendship that becomes more and the inevitable heartbreak.
I really enjoyed the banter and chemistry between the characters, it made their relationship feel very real, you could see it had developed over years of growing up together. Getting Grayson's POV really helped me very quickly warm to him. Drew is a strong, wise beyond her years character that I loved. There are tough subjects explored in this one including PTSD & alcoholism and the author handled them beautifully.
I got very emotional at points in this story and really felt for everyone involved. Grayson's gruffness and vulnerability really endeared him to me. And Drew's compassion and strength made me admire her. Add in their sexual chemistry and you've got a very REAL love story. Definitely recommend.

Grayson can’t resist his best friends little sister Drew even after he is warned off by their Dad. Drew and Grayson have a secret relationship before he and his best friend leave for war and he promises to return..
Years pass before Grayson returns as he is dealing with grief and guilt and can’t face her. Drew is determined to help him and never gives up.

Couldn't put it down!

It’s not often a book can drain every emotion out of me and then finish it off with tears of happiness and the outcome of two people and their story, but MAKE YOU MINE did just that. From the very first page, my heart was being tugged with what was happening and the uncertainty of what may develop.
I heard so many good things about this story and I was eager to get my hands on it and I was not disappointed. Once I started, I couldn’t put t down and then one day as much as I wanted to read it, I forced myself not to. Purely because I didn’t want it to end.
Drew and Grayson’s emotional, rollercoaster journey was beautiful and promising. The unconditional commitment that showed between them, no matter whether together or apart is what true love should be like. I don’t know if it was my own personal experience with PTSD or the brilliance in how it was delivered but my heart related to Grayson on many levels that I just wanted to reach into the page and hug him.
Tia is, and forever will be my go-to author. The way her words flow from the page is exciting, heartfelt and always has me on the edge of my seat. With each book that she creates, I lose more ability on how to review them because she has this way of making them even better than the last. For me MAKE YOU MINE is by far one of her best. It’s the sort of story that not only will you be shouting at people to read, but one that will stay with you forever.

Wonderfully written, told an emotional and compelling story.

I’ve been wanting/planning/needing to read Tia Louise for years; I have several of her books gathering digital dust on my kindle. When I read the blurb for Make You Mine, I knew this was THE book to start with. I was not disappointed, Make You Mine was wonderfully written and told an emotional and compelling story.
Military romance is my weakness, and I loved how much Grayson’s military service played into Make You Mine. From the way it separated them, kept them apart, and threatened their reconnection, Grayson’s time in the military was playing at the edges of every page of the book. Ms. Louise did an excellent job of making Grayson’s experience in the military and the fallout after his discharge feel authentic and heartbreaking.
Andrea (Drew) brought her own slew of issues to their relationship, though hers were far less obvious and she had much better coping mechanisms to deal with them. I was impressed by her strength and optimism considering how much she’d lost and the blatant lack of support she had in her home life. Drew had exactly the kind of love and tenacity Grayson needed to begin to overcome his demons.
Drew and Grayson’s connection was impenetrable. Even when they felt like the people they loved most didn’t support them, the draw they felt to one another kept them returning to each other time and again. There were moments in the book when my heart felt shredded by separations and distance that came between them, but their love was bigger than all of that, and I knew there was nothing that could keep them from returning to one another.
My only wish for this book is that it undergoes another editing pass. There were several typos, misused words, dropped words, and just plain grammatical errors.

There is Just Something About True Love
Reviewed in the United States on 9 December 2018Verified Purchase
Tia does it again. A wonderfully written story about true love that pulls you in from the first turn page. This story is filled with characters that you can’t help but get lost in.
Gray and Drew were two people in a very small town that were just meant to be. If it weren’t for their different social standings and Gray being her brother’s best friend they could have been together.
Gray knew he had to make more of himself before he could be with Drew. In order to make it happen, he joins the Marines with Danny in order to go got college. It’s during their deployment when tragedy hits. It’s a tragedy that would either make or break their relationship and shake the foundation of who they are as individuals and a couple.
Their journey had me on edge. You really wanted these two people who were so obviously meant to be to have their happy ending. When it finally happens you will be left sighing in contentment. Loved this book so hard!
