I was looking forward to Remi and Ruby’s story but I found the development of their relationship a bit slow. Their attraction for each other was instant but I found Ruby’s reasons for not wanting the relationship to progress annoying and a bit immature. Remi hadn’t had sex in 4 years so he was keen to progress their relationship but Ruby made excuses for them not to be together based on what other people thought of her. Lillie is adorable and Remi’s live in mother in law plays the villain and while story is predictable its enjoyable and they finally get their happily ever after. Most of Tia’s stories have been a 5 star and while this is a 3 star read for me if you’re looking for a sweet read then Make Me Yours is still worth a read. If you do love a good nanny falling for the single dad read I can also recommend Mr Masters by TL Swan.

Okay - I have an admission to make - I'm a total sucker for a single dad romance. Not much I find hotter than a great dad... Remi is just such a character.
Add Ruby into the mix - who might be younger, but is at times, definitely wiser and you've got chemistry for days. The two are so explosive it pours from the page.
Watching Ruby with Lillie made my mum heart happy and I was so desperate for them to get their HEA and create their family... Tia threw in just enough obstacles and emotions to make it an interesting read but the overall feeling I get from this one is sweet & I'm more than okay with that. Such a fun story. Definitely recommend this one.

This is the first time I have read a book by Tia Louise. I absolutely love single dad books and Tia did not disappoint. This book had me hooked from the first page. You know it is going to be a fantastic read when you have a strong female character. This definitely gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

This was a very sweet romance between hot, rich, sexy Remi and sweet Ruby. Sparks fly and the romance heats up. Throw in a 4 yr old and a puppy and my heart melts. Had all the feels. Loved it.

This story is so sweet it gave me tooth ache. My heart melted so many times. Lillie was such a sweetheart and the biggest personality in this story.

LOVE REMI & RUBY

Omg this books gives me all the feels. Remi & Ruby will definitely pull on your heartstrings but Lillie is a show stopper. Beautifully written and once you start reading you won’t want too stop. From page one I was hooked and the ending, perfection. Tia has become an author that no matter what she writes, I’ll always one click and never be disappointed. Truly an amazing read that will have tears in tour eyes and also a smile on your face. Another 5 Star read that everyone must read.

"We're holding each other through the cyclone of sensation."

“Make Me Yours” is a story full of passion, humor and romance that reaches into your heart and makes you glad to be alive. Tia Louise has written a very special book that made me laugh and smile and wish that every family could be blessed with someone as wonderful as Ruby. She brought love and happiness to Remi and Lillie and filled his heart with hope for the future.
Ruby is a smart and independent woman who is also a devoted daughter and talented artist. She thought that working for Remi would be a good way to save money so she could decide what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Remi is sexy and handsome, and the best father to his adorable, precocious daughter. Ruby bonded with Lillie from the moment they met over their love of Disney songs. She realized right away that Lillie needed to be herself so that her true personality could shine through. Ruby also knew that spending too much time with Remi was the wrong thing to do, even when it felt so right.
Remi had been in a dark place for a long time and sometimes he felt that he would never crawl out of it. A chance meeting with Ruby changed his life and gave him the strength to get back to work and enjoy each day to the fullest. Even if that meant having Ruby under his roof, with her beautiful smile and infectious personality. He was having a hard time keeping his hands to himself, but did he really want to?
Are Ruby, Remi and Lillie destined to be a family or does something happen to burst their bubble of happiness?

His voice is gentle. “You’re not afraid of anything.”
“That’s not true.” I’m terrified of my feelings for him. I’ve dated so many guys, and I’ve never felt this way about any of them. It’s like Remington Key holds my breath in his hands, and it scares me to death.
Make Me Yours was the perfect combination of sweet and sexy. Written with alternating dual POV, Make Me Yours is a single dad romance and it was undeniably entertaining. Something about the way Tia Louise writes a romance just sucks you right into her stories. I am not usually a huge single parent romance fan but sometimes they are done right and that’s the case with Make Me Yours. Tia balanced out the single parent responsibilities with a relationship between Remi and Ruby that was a little taboo—he hires her to be his daughter’s Nanny—and such close contact really allowed the fires to be stoked between Remi and Ruby. The tension between them was delicious and this slow burn romance really sucked me in. Reminiscent of a Disney fairytale, Ruby is swept off her feet by her own personal Prince Charming, and what a beautiful ride this story took us on. The characters were believable and while the book was a quick and easy read, Ruby and Remi had layers to them that unfolded perfectly. I loved watching them come together as a couple and vanquishing their own dragon, in this case Remi’s mother-in-law (from his first marriage). I can’t recommend this book enough!
Quotes:
Here, on the balcony overlooking all of Manhattan, under a sky filled with stars, I’m sure I’ve found something money can’t buy.
My mind drifts to the way she took Lillie’s invitation to play that Disney princess scene last night. Ruby didn’t care who saw her. She didn’t care if it was silly. She only cared about getting to know my little girl and making a friend. Seeing her that way did something more, though. It found a crack in the wall I’d built around my heart. It took all the feelings I’d set aside and stirred them up, twisting them into a new and unexpected emotion. I realized in that moment… I am different.
Ruby is fiercely independent, and she has her own unique style. She’s not a follower. She’s not a member of the herd. She doesn’t seem to want anything from me other than honest work, and she’s amazing with my daughter.
…when I see her, emotion hits me hard in the chest. My feelings for her have grown so strong over the past week and a half. I don’t want her to date Henry. I want her to stay here with me.

Ruby, Remi, and Lillie were perfect together.

Make Me Yours was adorable. I loved Ruby and Remi, but the best part of the book was Lille and the fierce love everyone in her life had for her. I can’t imagine how this story could have worked without her. She was the key to everything.
We first met Ruby in Make You Mine, and I knew then she was a force to be reckoned with. What I didn’t realize was how much of the bravado she displayed was to protect the broken little girl inside her that was seeking affirmation and acceptance. I appreciated how fearlessly she lived her life, and how she did her level best to refuse to let anyone else dull her shine. Her moments of vulnerability – as private as they were – made her real and lovable. I loved that, at the end of the day, she took charge of her life and did what she had to in order to make herself happy and sure of her place in the world.
My heart was broken for Remi before I ever really knew him. I could not, for one second, imagine what it would be like to lose my spouse. I wasn’t surprised that he’d shut himself down, it seemed like what I’d do. Watching him come back to life as Ruby became more entrenched in his and his daughter’s lives was life-affirming. His fearless pursuit of Ruby, once he realized how much he wanted and needed her, was beautiful. He was a wonderful father and a supportive partner, and there was no way anyone in their right mind could have resisted his charm.
Ruby, Remi, and Lillie were perfect together. They all gave one another pieces of things they’d been missing in their lives. Each of them seemed to be surviving alone, but once they found each other, they began to thrive. Watching their little family grow together and begin to flourish was lovely.
