To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought the first of this series on "spec" ,really just to try a new author and quickly became hooked. I love the battleborn and their struggle for equality, the characters are well drawn and sympathetic, the storylines engageing, I don't do spoiler reviews or long explanations. My only complaint is ,as usual when you love a series, we need more & faster please. If you love Vi Voxley & Erin Tate you'll love Cyndi Friberg!
I have followed this series right from the beginning, and in my humble opinion Cyndj is not writing them quickly enough for me. lol. Whilst reading the books i am transported to another world. Each book is a live story, and can be read as a strand alone, but it is very satisfying to follow the journey of the underdogs, the battle born, as they shake off the shackles of servitude and take their rightful place in the universe. Looking forward to the next book in the series, it cant come quickly enough.

I was enjoying the series but this book really upset me as I could not make head nor tail of the story as all the pages were jumbled so you didnt know when something started and when it finished. I had to give up on trying to get through it. Not good as it is one of the more expensive books
I have been reading these books in order, the storylines are great and I like the way new character are finding their way in,and inviting to their stories. Can be read as stand-alone,but much better in sequence. Looking forward to the next book now.
Loved the book, love the series. I thoughly enjoyed Emily and Vox's story, like all of Cyndi's characters the are both believable and likeable. The battle born series is terrific, keeps me wanting more. I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next with the Envoti.
