When a psychotically twisted lunatic takes on a madman who has lost everything, yet has everything to lose, you get this amazing story. I loved this conclusion to the Madman Duet. It was often horribly traumatic and so very, very dark, and there were many moments that wrenched my heart and made me cry. But, there was also the intense love story between the MCs that kept me reading and hoping for a HEA, unconventional as it may be.
In my over 40 years of reading books,l have never and i mean never read a more magnificent book,it had everything Love, sex, revenge, laughter, tears, can't tell you how I cried for them.l will never forget the twins, who are now in my heart forever. To all the poor souls out there who have suffered like the twins I will pray for you for the rest of my life.Thank you V.F.Mason for these two books you have become my favorite writer. Cheers Love from Josephine Melino ๐ค

This is the second half of the first Madman book, so if you made it through the first book, nothing I say here will surprise you. This story wraps up in this book, giving you the HEA that a lot of readers seek, though I'll be honest, I was hoping for a twist near the end and not getting that HEA just because that would've been a great twist! I understand, I'm in the minority with that, but the cave part, that would've been a good out... I can't say too much, I wouldn't want to ruin it for you. The book was good, kept my attention, and allowed me to enjoy the ride along with Eudard and Arianna.
The things I didn't like (don't read ahead if you haven't read the first book/don't do spoilers):
Spoilers: As in the first book, you'll notice sentence structure off, missing words, grammatical errors. There are triggers (which after reading reviews of other of this author's books seem to be a theme) of child rape.
Unsure if I'll continue to read things from this author or not.
I liked the characters but the plot was choppy. This flowed slightly better than the first book. There were some grammatical errors and editing issues. I truly feel one larger book could have been better if edited properly. Possibly using the end of chapter 17 of this book to being the beginning. Ione thing is certain, this is a unique world the author has created and I would still like to know the back stories of the minor characters in this book.
Oh my god! This story it just made me cry. Euard man I think I felt more for him the all the others story from this author don't get me wrong there have been a few of the others that had so much pain so much darkness. But I found that Euard and Cassandra went through so more than what I was expecting to read. I'm just happy that even with all that loss, all that pain they found their happy ever after. I can't wait what new more characters will come out if this. I will definitely like more.
I loved this 2nd book in the Madman Duet. I usually donโt like the back and forth between past and present but this book could not be told any other way. I absolutely LOVED the second epilogue. (I wonโt give it away). It was the perfect way to end Madmanโs story. Five Stars on this one. ๐๐๐๐๐
10 BRAVO STARS!! BRAVO....This is my favorite duet of 2019!! I absolutely loved this dark twisted story. This story has all the feels and lots of oh my gosh moments you keep replaying in your brain. V.F. Mason finished this duet with with a bang of perfection. Her storytelling has captured my heart and I can't wait for more of her words.
