From USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson

I love you.
Three words that can make or break you.
I thought I needed to find myself. I thought I wasn’t happy. I thought I needed more out of life.
I didn’t.
I’m more lost now than I was when I left. I have no answers, just endless amounts of questions. It was only a matter of time until the truth came to light. I never imagined it would change my entire life and everything I thought to be true.
It was all a game.
Except I wasn’t a player.
I was a pawn.

The end.
Two words that have several meanings. I never thought I’d lose her. But did I ever really have her…
Or did VIP?

Can love conquer all?

Warning: Book contains adult situations.

Sex/language. Mature readers only.

~this review may contain minor spoilers~

~how can something that started off so wrong become something that is so right? It can't. It's already tainted. Did I deserve a happily ever after?~

~Ysabelle Telle left VIP and her life in Miami behind in an attempt to find herself. With Sebastian back in her life, living together, owning the bar she's always dreamed of, she has everything she's always wanted.... so why does she feel more lost now than she did before she left? VIP made her the woman she is today, The Madam is the closest thing to a mother she has ever had, but the secrets that lay behind the walls of The Cathouse could very well destroy her and change everything she ever thought she knew. Will love be enough to save her, or is she far too damaged to give Sebastian what he wants?

~Sebastian Vanwell thought he had it all. His soul-mate is back in his arms with plans to move forward with their lives, she has escaped the clutches of VIP and is finally just his. Or so he thought. For every step forward they take three steps back as she keeps him at arms length, strangled by the demons of her past. He is starting to think that maybe love might not be enough. When he least expects it, their past collides with their present leaving him to wonder if he ever really had Ysa at all, or will she always belong to VIP.

“I don't know who I am anymore! I don't know if I ever did! Why do you want to be with me? I'm so f***** up!”
“I know who you are. You're mine! And I'm yours. I couldn't leave you alone because I can't f****** breathe without you. You're my air, you're my life, you're my everything.”

This series has been a train wreck right from the beginning and this book was no different.

HASH(0xadfb2bdc) out of 5 stars It was pretty good but not what I was expecting 9 December 2014

I was actually looking forward to reading this book because the first 2 were very good and I was pulled into the story. I needed to find out how the story ended and how everything was played out. To say I was a little disappointed is an understatement. Yes I am giving this book 3 stars because we did get an ending and there was 1 part that I really enjoyed. Let’s start with the character changes in this book. I felt like Sebby and Ysa were both two different people. In the first book Sebby was never controlling or domineering in any type of way and Ysa was not a push over and as insecure as she was in this book. But I guess that’s what happens when you start a relationship based off an affair who knows. These two spent 60% of the book fighting and holding back their feelings rather than trying to make the relationship work. There were also times in this book I would read something and stop and think I have read this exact part somewhere else. It was like reading someone else’s life that I have heard and being put into the characters. I felt like these 2 people were not the Sebby and Ysa I knew from the first book. I know people change over time but not to the point of not being able to recognize the characters from the other book. Of course Madam was still the same selfish person she was in The Madam. That was my favorite part was what Ysa did to Madam. Also towards the end of the book Ysa made a huge mistake it happens and its life but what I didn’t fully understand was how Sebby said all those things to her the way he did and then she just forgave him 1, 2, 3. I understand people say things they don’t mean when they are mad but honestly most the time your true feelings come out when you are mad so I felt he truly meant some of those things. Believe me when I say they were very hurtful. I am happy that got there HEA but disappointed in the way the story unfolded.

Never have I read a book that had me completely mind blown. M Robinson not only put together a magnificent manuscript filled with colorful characters but she has managed to create another sleepless night. In here you will receive closure. It may or may not go the way everyone plans but rest assured closure is reached. Things aren't always what they seem and good things come to those who wait. These seem to be the two lessons learned in MVP. This was a tremendous end to a fabulous series. Totally loved loved LOVED the book. Every emotion you feel as you read on. Best book I've read in a while.

MVP (VIP #3)
By: M. Robinson
5/5 stars

*I bought and read this book as part of the VIP trilogy boxed set. This book starts at 73%.* This series must be read in order. This review may contain spoilers for books 1 & 2.This is the conclusion to Ysabelle & Sebastian’s story, and the original trilogy. However there is a book 4, Tempting Bad, which is a spin-off and there will be a book 5, Mika, which is yet to be published.

The prologue on this really blows you away and is somewhat confusing because you are left thinking: How the hell did we get to this point?! And then it backtracks about a year earlier and is just around the time when Sebastian finds Ysabelle on the beach and they reconnect. So you feel like your left hanging, wanting to know what happened, and it takes until the next to last chapter in the book to get back to where the prologue started.

Sebastian and Ysa have a mostly comfortable relationship, working at the bar she owns and living in the apartment that she had built above the bar. But anytime that Sebastian tries to push for more or make plans for the future, Ysa backs away and sometimes becomes distant. Ysabelle doesn’t trust that Sebastian is in her life for the long-term and that he’ll eventually leave, after all, he’s done it before. And when he left, all hope she had of them having a future went out the door when he returned to his wife. She never believed that he would come back into her life. The insecurities from her childhood have come rushing back. She’s not the strong woman she portrayed herself to be as a VIP. Because VIP is no longer an act she can put on like a cloak, she is with Sebastian 24/7. She is unsure of herself & her relationship since Sebastian waltzed back into her life. At times, she is almost a shadow of the VIP that she was, and is instead, the scared, little girl wanting her mother’s love & just trying to survive. But through it all, she mostly seems like she is just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Sebastian has also changed somewhat. Since his divorce from Julia, he has spent time finding himself and figuring out what exactly he wanted from life. And he knows that he truly did love Ysa during their affair and that she will complete his life. He wants to marry her, he wants to have kids with her and he wants to live happily ever after with her…starting yesterday. He doesn’t want to wait and is impatient. There are times that he reminds himself that he is the cause of a lot of her pain & mistrustfulness. He knows that he did a year’s worth of damage (the length of their affair) and that he can’t just undo everything overnight. He’s patient sometimes, but almost whiny when he has to be. He just wants it all to happen right now. In this way he has changed from the first book. But he will fight through her demons & the walls she’s reinforced around her heart because of him. He will never let her go again.

There did come a point when I was like, “Ugh! Enough already, let’s move forward!” But that’s just characters sometimes. Anyways, the drama & angst isn’t solely between Sebastian & Ysa. The past characters from this trilogy also return, Madam, Devon, Brooke, Julia, Christian, etc. I wish that this book would have ended farther in the future, but since there are more books coming out, I think that was why the author didn’t extend the last chapter or epilogue any further amount of time.

4.5 stars. Sebastian and Ysa's story already had its fair share of trials and tribulations in VIP and MVP continues their journey to fight for their future together if they can make it work. After reading Madam, I was prepared for just about anything to happen in this book. Sebastian and Ysa are living with each other and enjoying one another's company. Sebastian lives with daily guilt for all the hurt he has caused to Ysa in the past and every action he does is to show her how much he loves her. He's very patient and understanding. He's also very free and happy with her. Ysa on the other hand is struggling. She has adapted to her non-VIP life, but she isn't sure if a domestic life with Sebastian in the way he envisions is what is right for her. She reflects a lot on her upbringing, knowing she has so little experience on what normal is and wonders if she can achieve that for herself. I really empathized with Ysa, she had a less than stellar beginning to her life and now that she finally has everything she could hope and want, she's worried that she's screwing everything up because she isn't what she thinks she ought to be. Although I was never mad at Sebastian in VIP, he did frustrate me at times, but he really comes through for Ysa in MVP, there's no doubt how he feels about her. As much as I hate to admit this, even Julia grew on me in this book, showing her true humanity and maturity finally. Madam is back in the picture and won't give up because she needs Ysa to takeover VIP. The reason why she chooses Ysa is unbeknownst to everyone except those who have read Madam. Mika appears, too, and just like before, he's a wild card, I'm still trying to decide what I think of him, but I'm glad he will get his own story soon because I think I do in fact like him. I was happy to see more of Devon and Brooke as well. Once Ysa discovers why Madam has specifically selected her, everything crashes and burns with Ysa taking the brunt of the pain. The beauty of this series is how everyone has a past filled with mistakes that none of them are proud of, but everyone finds a way to get back up and persevere, but most importantly, forgive oneself. Ysa discovers that the power she held as a VIP no longer holds any appeal to her and she's afraid of what she really wants because she's not sure if she can live up to it and deserve it. I'm glad her story didn't stop with VIP because Ysa still had a lot of growing up to do and due to so many catalytic events in MVP, Ysa found her last bit of strength and her way to where she belonged.

HASH(0xadfb2dd4) out of 5 stars Great Series Conclusion 24 March 2015

Again, I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed M. Robinson's writing in this third book of the VIP series. While I wasn't a huge fan of Madam herself, I did like the Ysabelle and Sebastian characters from the first book and am glad to see they were the focal point of book three. This review may spoil books one and two.

"The instant connection we shared and the gravitational pull we had toward each other was inevitable. That's what happens when two halves of a heart come together and become one. They're bonded for life." ~ Sebastian

"There was no Sebastian without Ysabelle. She was my everything....." ~ Sebastian

MVP picks up right where VIP left off, with Ysa and Sebastian stating from scratch. They so needed that and with their time apart, Ysa became a stronger woman while Sebastian figured out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Things are all straightened out with Julia and Christian, now it was time to straighten it out with Ysa.

"There wasn't one place on my body that hadn't been touched by a man or a woman, except my heart. That has only ever been touched and connected to one person. Sebastian." ~ Ysa

Sounds easy enough. Stay together on the island and run her bar, live happily ever after. Nope. Too freaking easy to write that story. M. Robinson runs her characters through the emotional ringer and expects things to be all honky dory. Like in VIP, you can't read this story fast enough to see how it is going to turn out in the end.

Ysa and Sebastian are defiantly changed people this time around, however that seems to be what is freaking each of them out. He's a feeling talker abouter and she isn't at all, and that seems to be the crux of the relationship problems. With a past like the one they share, it's a no brainer they have a lot to figure out if they are ever going to move forward together.

"Everything in life happens for a reason."
"And he was my reason."
"Always and forever." ~ Ysa

The book is well written although I do have two small gripes. One is that we are constantly told how tiny Ysa is. We get it, she's small, move on. Also there is some repeating in the chapters. I love a POV story, especially the way M. Robinson alternates within the chapter, however the repeating of the previous lines seem like filler, not expanding of the story. That being said, MVP was an excellent addition to the VIP series.
